In October 1990, Zhang Aiping donated her former residence to the local people's government. More than 80 objects, more than 400 pictures and more than 60 general's photographic and calligraphy works were displayed in the exhibition, which truly showed the revolutionary course and brilliant achievements of General Zhang Aiping.
Zhang Aiping's former residence will be a provincial key cultural relics protection unit, a provincial patriotism education base and a provincial national defense education base. On January 5, 2010, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Zhang Aiping's birth, Zhang Aiping's former residence was renovated and opened again, which has become one of the important scenic spots for red tourism and general's hometown tour in Sichuan Province.

The tomb of mingyuelong General of Ming Dynasty in Qinggang village of Beiwai town is Zhang Yilong, the pillar of Mingwei general who was cultivated for the country in the early period of Zhang Jia. Zhang Aiping was the vice premier, State Councilor and Minister of national defense, and his younger brother Zhang canming was the Vice Minister of foreign affairs and the Deputy Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. What is of particular concern is that during his tenure as vice minister, Zhang canming was in charge of the Sino British negotiations on the Hong Kong issue and made contributions to China's resumption of the exercise of sovereignty over Hong Kong.
Sword Garden
On the occasion of the centenary of General Zhang Aiping's birth, on January 5, 2010, the former residence of General Zhang Aiping in Gaoshi village, Luojiang Town, Tongchuan District, Dazhou city - "magic sword garden" was officially opened to the public.
On the same day, the Dazhou Red Army cultural exhibition hall in "Shenjian garden" officially opened. General Zhang Aiping is the hero of "two bombs and one star" and is known as "General of magic sword". In order to carry forward the Red Army Culture and the spirit of "two bombs and one star", Dazhou officially started the construction of "Shenjian garden" in 2008. The whole project covers an area of 46.54 hectares, with a construction area of 31400 square meters and a total investment of 220 million yuan. At present, the first phase of the project has cost more than 50 million yuan.
"Shenjian garden" is divided into the former residence of General Zhang Aiping, Dazhou Red Army cultural exhibition hall and other core scenic spots, with supporting construction of mountain, water, forest, field, road and other infrastructure near the park. As an important part of the "magic sword garden", the newly completed Red Army cultural exhibition hall is magnificent and simple in style. It consists of six exhibition halls, including the theme preface hall and the Red Army fighting in Dazhou. A large number of historical facts and cultural relics in the museum represent the brilliant achievements of 51 Dazhou revolutionaries and Red Army soldiers, including Wang Weizhou and Zhang Aiping.
