Completion date

It used to be an abandoned quarry, full of rubble and bare rock, which seriously affected the appearance of the city. In 2002, the municipal government decided to build it into a man-made waterfall and make bare rock green. The project started in May 2002 and was completed in April 2003, with a total investment of nearly 50 million yuan. During the construction of the waterfall, the mountain terrain of Yancang was fully utilized, and the water was pumped up by two pumps every day. The power consumption was 200 degrees per hour, and the maximum water volume was 1400 Li meters per hour.

This project adopts the very advanced "spray seeding technology" in today's world. Generally speaking, it is to mix grass seeds and soil, spray them on the bare rock, and then fertilize and water them. It is said that the technology is confidential.
