China Medicinal Botanical Garden

Belonging to the Institute of medicinal plants, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Medicinal Botanical Garden is one of the major medicinal botanical gardens in Asia. It is a window to reflect the development level of medicinal plants in China. The Chinese medicinal botanical garden is located at the foot of Baiwang mountain, a scenic spot in the western suburb of Beijing, about 10 kilometers away from the urban area. The existing land area is 260 mu. There is an artificial lake in the garden passing through the medicinal garden from due north, dividing the botanical garden space. There are pavilions, galleries, waterside pavilions, small bridges and so on, forming a prominent architectural theme. The main scenic spots of medicinal botanical garden are: Yuanmen scenic area, "Sun Moon Star" lawn, "Xiling Hongxia" autumn scenic area, traditional Chinese medicine area, folk medicine area and anti-aging health care medicine area.
