Gaohe town

Gaohe town is located in the western remote mountainous area of Qionglai City, Sichuan Province, 40 kilometers away from Qionglai city. Qionglu road runs through the whole area. It is the gateway of Tiantai Mountain, a national scenic spot. It is adjacent to Huojing town in the East, nanbaoshan town in the north, Tiantaishan town in the South and Lushan County in Ya'an in the West. It is a giant panda nature reserve.

The town is 15 kilometers long from east to west and 8 kilometers wide from north to south, covering an area of 81.4 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 6 administrative villages and 1 community

In December 2019, Chengdu Municipal People's government decided to abolish Gaohe town.

Historical evolution

Gaohe town is one of the old revolutionary towns in Chengdu, where the Red Army established the Soviet regime. In 1935, the Red Army entered Qionglai on the long march and established the Soviet government in Gaohe Shita temple. At that time, more than 600 people in the town joined the Red Army guerrillas, and more than 400 people took part in the Red Army's northward Anti Japanese campaign. In September 1996, Gaohe was named the base of the second Civil Revolutionary War by Chengdu Municipal People's government. In August 1997, the Qionglai Memorial Hall of the Red Army's long march was built and opened at the former Soviet site in Shita District, Sichuan Province and Chengdu City

In December 2019, Chengdu Municipal People's government decided to abolish Gaohe town.

Gaohe town is located in the southwest border of Sichuan Basin. It is high in the north and south, low in the East and West, with mountains and dams. It is located on both sides of Wenjing River and is the gateway of Tiantai Mountain. Yuxi River is the main canal artesian irrigation area.

climatic conditions

The annual average temperature is 13 ℃, the rainfall is 1659 mm, and the frost free period is 230 days. It is suitable for crop growth and belongs to subtropical coniferous and broad-leaved forest belt. The forest coverage rate is 70%, and there are bamboo, wood, Chinese medicinal materials, rare animals and limestone mines.

investment projects

With the joint efforts of the district's civil air defense, jitouqiao Street office and Gaohe Town, Sichuan datonghua Industrial Co., Ltd. settled in Gaohe town and established Linsen Development Co., Ltd. The company rented 1000 mu of land and invested 332700 yuan in the early stage. It will focus on the transformation of mountain forests, the development of mushroom cultivation, tourism and other related industries, so as to drive the local economic development. It is learned that the company has solved the employment problem of 300 employees after its establishment. This effectively promoted the development of regional economy of population evacuation.

Sichuan Ruiyun group is introduced to build the "Tianfu Red Valley" vision Park, an industrial reconstruction project of Jingkou village in Gaohe town. The project is divided into three zones according to its function, namely, happy wish scenic spot, farming, entertainment and forest health preservation zone. rabbit

Wangjia village of Gaohe town has built a 10000 high-quality rabbit farm, and established a rabbit breeding Association. Now it has more than 350 members, covering several surrounding towns, with a development scale of more than 20000.

Chayote

It has green skin, white flesh, smooth and fragrant flesh. A single melon weighs 300-500g. It has a long shelf life and rich nutrition. Wood types include pine, Phoebe, Chinese fir (Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Cryptomeria fortunei), Taxus chinensis, birch, camphor, etc. Most of them are Cryptomeria fortunei and Cryptomeria fortunei. Historical relics

Tusi Yamen

For many years, it has only been seen in Gansu, Arab and Liangzhou ethnic minority areas in Sichuan Province. The Yi Tusi yamen site in Wangjia village, Gaohe Town, has finally come to light. The Tusi yamen site remains a broken farmyard on the Bank of Wenjing River in Wangjia village of Yi nationality. Along the smooth stone steps, a large dilapidated house gate stands out in front of the eyes. Although it is shaking from a distance, it is magnificent from a close view. The door of the house is supported by the stone wall, which is covered with moss and grass. There is a large courtyard dam at the entrance. Except for the only one or two damaged wooden houses, other places are empty, and the traces left by the fire can be seen. From the point of view of the house foundation, the houses around should be in the layout of "three rooms and two ears", which is more in line with the Yi People's house structure in flat areas. In addition, there is a pit on the foundation of the so-called hall house, which is supposed to be the fire pool of the owner.

Red Army Long March Qionglai Memorial Hall

In August 1997, the Qionglai Memorial Hall of the Red Army's long march was built and opened at the former Soviet site in Shita District, Sichuan Province and Chengdu City

The memorial hall, covering an area of 25 mu, consists of two parts: the former site of the Soviet government in shitasi district and the new exhibition hall.

Stone pagoda of shita Temple

Located in group 3, happy village, Gaohe Town, Qionglai City, it was built in 1169, the fifth year of Qiandao in the Southern Song Dynasty, and was approved by the imperial court and ordered by Huojing County of Qiongzhou (Sui Dynasty), and completed in 1172. The pagoda is named "Sakya Tathagata true body pagoda". The original name of the pagoda is "Sakya Tathagata true body pagoda". The plane of the pagoda is square, with 13 levels of dense eaves. It sits in the north and south, with a height of 17.8 meters. The pagoda is carved with red sandstone. It is rarely seen in the existing stone pagodas in China. It is built on the two tall xumizuo. On the first floor, there are 12 levels of dense eaves on the eaves, three arched niches on each side of the tower, and one sitting Buddha in high relief, a total of 144. The pagoda body is engraved with three volumes of "great compassion mantra", "Guanyin Sutra" and "dizang Benyuan Sutra". The tower is in the shape of "shuttle column", which is very tall and straight. Xumizuo is exquisitely carved with flower patterns. In June 2001, the State Council announced that it was the fifth batch of national cultural relics protection units

Xingxinghe farm is an educational base for young people to live in rural houses, eat farm food, do farm work and care about their families.
