On the East and northeast coast of the island, there are relatively dark basalts. Xigu mountain was originally an independent hilltop. In the south of Xigu mountain, there is a raised beach rock terrain, which together with the accumulation layer in the north of Xigu mountain, accounts for about half of the island area. Due to its special geographical location, the island is also rich in birds and plants. At present, more than 100 species of birds have been found. On the sea erosion platform outside the accumulation layer, Shihu is the densest place in Penghu.

There is a resort house on Jibei island for accommodation. The gentle sand bank is suitable for swimming and diving. It is an ideal coastal resort.
