Greater Khingan Range

The exhibition area of Daxing'anling, using high-tech sound, light and electricity display technology and skills, depicts a picture of the original landscape of Daxing'anling: the revolving windmill, the red old fireplace, the cheerful old waterwheel, and the deer head, hunting gun, bow and crossbow hanging in the hunter's cabin, showing the true life of forest hunters. In the distance is the dark snow mountain, and in the near is the gurgling water. There are also many kinds of rare freshwater fish in the water, such as sturgeon, Russian sturgeon, trout, golden trout, snakehead, Siniperca chuatsi and Pelteobagrus fulvidraco.

Fisherman's Wharf

The fisherman's Wharf is carefully built after the original appearance of the fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, USA. The scenic spot depicts a romantic scene of coconut trees, blue sky, coast and sand beach. There are also dozens of species and nearly 100 rare fishes living here. They are all sea fish, such as butterfly fish, fairy fish, fox fish, shell fish, clown fish, etc. Besides, there is a "hydrophilic zone" specially set up for children. Children can freely enter, clearly see the layered profile of the sea, feel and understand the ocean from another angle, and establish the awareness and responsibility of protecting the ocean. Geese Island, Antarctica

In fact, this penguin exhibition area is a "little Antarctica" built by human workers, in which 17 king penguins and white browed penguins are kept, including 15 white browed penguins and 2 king penguins. After passing through New Zealand, Japan and Dalian from Antarctica, the penguins arrived in Harbin on December 11, 2005. 15 white browed penguins are 2-7 years old. Two king penguins are one male and one female. The male is 6 years old, and the female is less than 1 year old. It is worth mentioning that she is the first Antarctic King Penguin successfully bred in China.

It simulates the natural living environment of penguins in the Antarctic continent, and uses superb lighting and artificial ice and snow to create unique scenes such as polar day and night, sunrise and sunset, rare snowstorm, and even polar day and night. In addition, the trainer of the Polar Museum monitors the whole process of this area 24 hours a day, on the one hand, to ensure that the temperature of the exhibition area is always kept at - 5 ℃; on the other hand, to ensure that the penguin domestication is safe. Especially during the breeding period, the trainers will be more careful to ensure that these penguins from Antarctica can live normally and breed in Harbin in the northern hemisphere.

There is a special "southern hemisphere" globe on the opposite side of keee Island, through which we can further understand the distribution of penguins in the southern hemisphere.

In addition, in this area, the real scenes of the Antarctic scientific research supply station are also restored, including polar tents, Argo amphibious exploration vehicles, scientific research materials stacking points, etc.

Moby Dick show

Since the introduction of Moby Dick "Mira" and "Nicola", Harbin Polar Museum has been committed to the innovation of Moby Dick underwater performance. After the performances of "kiss of the sea", "aura of angels" and "underwater waltz", the underwater performance of "heart of the sea" was launched during the Spring Festival in 2009, and the classic drama "kiss of angels" in 2010 also met with the audience.
