Guizhou national folk custom museum is the only one in Guizhou Province to display the rich and colorful folk culture with a long history. Located next to the beautiful Baiyun Park, it is close to China kite art museum, Chen baiqiu log art gallery and international famous teahouse.
At present, the theme of the exhibition hall is "Guizhou Intangible Culture Exhibition". Most of the exhibits are ancient traditional costumes, production and daily necessities of Guizhou ethnic minorities provided by Mr. Zeng Xianyang, a famous collector in Guizhou. The main building of the museum displays culture and handicrafts, while the auxiliary building and courtyard introduce tourism products with Guizhou local characteristics, which makes the whole museum area become a "miniature of Guizhou culture".
Guizhou National Folk Custom Museum
Guizhou national folk custom museum is located in Baiyun Park, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is a white elegant antique courtyard.
There are three stories of stone walls and wooden windows in the main building. On the left side is a row of wing rooms with information pictures and green pines and trees in front of the room. On the right side is a long corridor with photos taken by the curator Zeng Li's father Zeng Xianyang when he collected the collection. There are also spinning wheels, wine jars, fish baskets and other farm tools and things. It has the ancient charm of the residence of celebrities.
The museum is close to China kite art museum, Chen baiqiu log art gallery, international famous teahouse and other leisure tourist attractions. It is the only one in Guizhou Province to display the rich and colorful national folk culture with a long history.
architectural composition
There are seven exhibition halls in the main building. The first floor is dominated by ethnic costumes, including Miao, Buyi, Dong, etc. behind each dress are beautiful stories. Each piece of exquisite national clothing in the projection light, full of strong national flavor, in the black and white background, more exquisite and chic. Among them, Miao embroidery masterpieces such as Shidong type "broken thread embroidery" and yueliangshan type batik "kuzanyi" have been exhibited in the relevant activities of UNESCO and China National Museum for many times, and have been highly praised by experts at home and abroad. In 2007, these costumes also appeared on the T-stage of China International Fashion week for a special performance. The second floor mainly houses Miao silver ornaments of Qiandongnan Miao Nationality in Guizhou Province, as well as tools for other ethnic minorities to live, work and hunt, revealing a strong flavor of life. There are beautiful and exquisitely carved collars, earrings that are a little "scary" in size and weight, raincoats made of ponytail and palm, bamboo hat, iron sand guns for hunting, battle armor made of elephant skin, and lunch boxes made of bamboo. Every article is skillful, which embodies the wisdom and enthusiasm of our people. The third floor is a deliberate interactive area. On a glass platform which looks like a stage, there are weaving machines, windmills, spinning wheels and other utensils. Tourists can not only watch folk song and dance performances here, but also weave and spin their own fabrics to feel the living atmosphere of the ethnic compatriots. Although the museum is small, it is full of art treasures and countless stories behind it. Hesitating among the fine works of art, while enjoying the happiness of eyes and heart, a kind of indifference and sadness also permeates my heart. Today, such rich artistic imagination and superb craftsmanship can only be displayed and missed in museums.
