Yantan Yellow River Bridge
Yantan Yellow River Bridge enjoys the reputation of "the first rainbow bridge" of the Yellow River in Lanzhou, with a total length of 816 meters. It is a three span continuous steel tube concrete rigid frame tied arch bridge with a deck width of 31 meters, a west approach bridge length of 75 meters and a East approach bridge length of 440 meters. It is a reinforced concrete continuous beam bridge composed of main bridge, approach bridge, approach road, auxiliary road, rainwater, lighting, etc.
Construction process
Yantan Yellow River Bridge is located in the east of Lanzhou city. It is a key project connecting the north exit of Lanzhou City and 312 national highway. It is also a throat project connecting Yantan on the South Bank of Lanzhou Yellow River and yanchangbao on the north bank. The bridge is 791m long with a total investment of 172.8 million yuan. It was started in January 2001 and completed in 2003. The bridge is listed as the key project of the Tenth Five Year Plan in Lanzhou City and is one of the landmark buildings in Lanzhou city.
Management and maintenance
Lanzhou city investment company entrusted China National Offshore Construction International Tendering Co., Ltd. to conduct the feasibility study report preparation, survey and design of the second bid section of the Yellow River wetland restoration and ecological management project in Lanzhou. The wetland restoration and ecological management project of Lanzhou section of the Yellow River starts from the expressway bridge on the east side of Yanyan Yellow River Bridge in the west to sangyuan gorge in the East, with a total length of 8000 meters. The construction contents include roads, river embankments, pedestrian passageways, wetland restoration and ecological treatment projects, parks and squares, public service facilities, lighting, fire control and transportation and other ancillary facilities.
Bridge construction
The bridge was constructed by Lanzhou urban infrastructure investment company, designed by Lanzhou Urban Construction Design Institute and undertaken by China Railway fourth Bureau Group Co., Ltd. The design grade of the bridge is grade I, the design load grade is steam over 20, hang-100, the seismic intensity is VIII, and the navigation standard is grade 5. The lowest navigable bridge bottom chord elevation is 1509.37m + 8m, the design flood frequency is 1 / 100, the design flood flow is 6500m3 / S, and the design flood level is 1513.85m.
The bridge is a three span continuous concrete steel tube and steel frame tied arch bridge with the largest span of the same type in China (2015). It is composed of left and right bank approach bridge project and main bridge project. The plane layout is east-west, and the span is 18 × 25m + (87m + 127m + 87m) + 2 × 50m. The main bridge is 301m long, 31m wide and 127m long. The upper structure is a continuous reinforced concrete tied arch bridge, and the lower structure is a column pier and bored pile foundation.
The bridge site is located in the river section of the gorge river. The river valley is spacious, the flow is basically stable, the riverbed is relatively stable, and the river width is about 300 m. The channel bends at the bridge site and turns from northwest to Southeast. The main stream is on the right. The left bank is about 300m wide and the gradient of the channel is 0.82 ‰. There are riverside roads (and dikes) on both sides of the river, and the flood control pressure of the river section is not great.
