World Park

World Park is one of the most famous theme parks in Beijing. It is a collection of miniature versions of famous buildings in various countries. In peak season, exotic song and dance performances and animal performances will be staged every day. Visitors can feel the novelty of playing around the world in a day. It is also very good to take group photos and take children to study.

The length and width of the world park are about 700 meters. The main gate is located on the east side of Fengbao road. You can walk into the park and enjoy it for about 3 hours.

After entering the world park from the main entrance, you can first play counter clockwise along the road on the right. The northern area on the right is mainly for performances and entertainment. First of all, you will come to Thailand's elephant and crocodile performance arena, where you can see such wonderful performances as elephant dancing, interaction between human and crocodile, peacock opening screen, etc. there are four performances every day, namely 9:30, 11:10, 14:00 and 16:00, each lasting half an hour. There is no extra charge for watching the performance, but if you want to take a picture with the animals after the performance, you need to pay about 20 yuan.

After watching the performance, I went to the open-air Art Theater, where there are singing and dancing performances of different countries, two times a day, at 11:00 and 14:30, respectively. There are dance performances with European style, Persian style, Australian Aboriginal style and other characteristics. Each performance is also about half an hour, so you can pay attention to the time to watch. However, these two performances are only available from the end of April to the end of October every year, and may stop at other times. Please call the scenic spot before visiting. From the end of April to the end of October every year, around 10:30 a.m. from Wednesdays to Sundays, there will be a float parade performance in the scenic area. The performance also starts from the vicinity of the art theater. The actors dress up in different countries, and the parade performance is very wonderful. You can also pay attention to it. The cost of these two performances is included in the ticket and there is no extra charge.

After passing the art theater, the front convenience is the M-Zone area, which is mainly for recreation. There are canyon rafting, simple roller coaster, bumper car, high-altitude bicycle and other projects, suitable for children to come to play. However, the projects here are all operated by individuals, and they need to pay about 10-20 yuan for each.

After walking through the performance area and M-Zone area, you come to the southern part of the scenic area, which is the miniature landscape area of the world park. In the region, more than 100 internationally famous miniature versions of buildings have been built according to the division of continents. Famous American White House, Eiffel Tower, Egyptian Sphinx can be seen here. Although the building is miniature, the general small buildings are 5-6 meters high, and the high ones are as high as tens of meters. And there are lakes and trees between the buildings, the scenery is very beautiful. If you roam here, you will feel like traveling around the world. Many people will choose to take wedding photos here, and parents will bring their children to know the buildings of different countries, which is very worthwhile to come here.

World Park

The world park is located in Dabaotai, Huaxiang, Fengtai District, Beijing, 16 kilometers away from the city center and 8 kilometers away from Beijing West Railway Station. It is a national 4A scenic spot and Beijing boutique Park, featuring open-air performances, zero distance interactive participation and exotic song and dance performances. In 2014, it was designated as the theme park performing arts area of Beijing Cultural and creative industry functional area by Beijing municipal government.

Beijing World Park opened in 1993, covering an area of 800 mu, with a green area of 76%. It is composed of open-air Art Theater, Asia Pacific stage, African stage, welcome square in Damen District, elephant hall in Thailand village and Wuzhou float parade performance. It is decorated with nearly 100 world-famous architectural landscapes. The building materials of the scenic spots are modeled on the original as much as possible, using copper carving, copper casting, gilding, gold plating, wood carving, etc., maintaining the original style.

With the help of the new coordinate positioning, Beijing World Park has changed from the original static miniature landscape to dynamic performance. It has launched a dynamic performance base of "colorful world global folk songs and Dances" with the original foreign folk songs and dances as the highlight, the gardens and horticulture of various countries as the green new landscape, and the architectural attractions of various countries as the basis.

With the launch of one of the "one belt, one road" summit in Beijing, Beijing World Park has launched large-scale historical musical dramas, such as "Silk Road Customs", "Silk Road singing songs" (flower car Cruises) and Kroraina Ancient Rhymes. All performances in the park are free of charge.

On the morning of September 21, 1995, a large-scale opening ceremony and folk marching performance of "95 Asian folk custom week" (one of the main activities of Chinese folk custom tour) were held in Beijing World Park. From September 21 to September 27, various folk art performances and handicrafts were held in Beijing World Park. The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games was held in the world park

. Art troupes from 11 countries and regions including Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Nepal, the Philippines, China and Hawaii performed songs and dances with rich ethnic customs.

In 1996, Vladivostok children's Art Troupe visited the world park and performed classical and modern ballet in the outdoor theater. Beijing Fengtai District Party committee and government held a large-scale "August 1" Gala party in the park. The world park art troupe performed with famous artists such as Tian Hua, Wang Kun, Liu Shuping and Zhang Shugui. From September 1 to 7, the World Park held an activity of "feeling for the future of the frontier" to express sympathy to outstanding teachers in Ali Prefecture of Tibet, inviting five outstanding primary school teachers from Ali Prefecture of Tibet.

In 1997, the elephant Pavilion of the world park officially opened. Visitors can see Thai elephant performances in the world park

In 2000, Thai crocodile training performance was added to the original elephant training performance. More than 20 crocodiles from Thailand and Thai elephant trainers jointly performed for tourists. In October, the dragon dance competition of Yanhuang World Dragon Boat Dragon Lion competition was held.

In 2001, the Fourth Beijing International Tourism Culture Festival (Fengtai District) was held in the world park. Actors from Italy, Britain, France, Mongolia, Greece and Vanuatu performed.

In 2002, the Fifth Asian Art Festival with the theme of "understanding Asia and loving Asia" was held here. Art troupes from Nepal, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Singapore performed foreign folk songs and dances.

In 2003, the World Park held a "Chinese and foreign automobile century Tour" party, and held a 12 day automobile exhibition in Beijing World Park from October 18 to 28

In 2004, the fourth "meet in Beijing" Fengtai branch activity sponsored by the Ministry of culture was held in the art theater. Carmel folk art of Israel, Bahamas youth dance and Fengtai District Children's Palace dance company performed programs with ethnic and regional characteristics. The Beijing section of the National Hip Hop dance competition was held in the Art Theater of the world park. The third National Star selection show competition and the first national pop singer competition (Beijing division) finals of "Beijing Radio News" cup were held in the world park.

In 2005, the second "double star Cup" national TV hip hop competition was held in the park art theater, Beijing Sub competition area and the second Beijing hip hop competition

. In October, the park opened the golden week with the theme of "dynamic Africa". Actors from Ethiopia's mutabe black band, Australia's "Grinda" little star dance company, Ukraine and other countries were invited to participate in the performance.

In 2006, the World Park held the first Asian Spring Festival tour in 2006

. In July, the closing ceremony of Beijing International Wind festival was held in the world park. There are nearly 30 excellent orchestras from nearly 10 countries and more than 1000 people at home and abroad participated in the activity. In the same month, the World Park held the opening ceremony of Jamaica culture week under the Eiffel Tower.

On August 3, 2008, in order to welcome the Chinese traditional festival Qixi Festival, Beijing World Park opened the "Chinese traditional culture experience area", where more than 30 Hanfu lovers and nearly 100 tourists participated in the "douqiao" and other Chinese traditional Qixi festival activities

. On September 14, Chinese boys and Russian girls arranged folk legends such as "Chang'e rushes to the moon", "Hou Yi shoots the sun" and "Wu Gang offers wine" into a sitcom in the world park, and staged a "Western version" of the Mid Autumn Festival story

On July 15, 2009, a Thai elephant water splashing festival with the theme of "cool world, cool summer" was held in Beijing World Park. Thai elephants, actors from Uganda, Russia, Thailand, WA and Dai nationalities participated in the festival
