"Jiulong spring, high mountains and flowing water, wonderful music; terraces emerald, the moon breeze, flute rhyme." This is a couplet of Jiulong pool. Located at the foot of Qili mountain, 10km northwest of Yuxi City, jiulongchi, also known as Qili River, is one of the famous scenic spots. According to the records of rebuilding the tablet of jiulongchi, the temple was founded before the Qing Dynasty. It was expanded several times. In 1729 ad, it was "a new stone bridge, a rainbow lying on the waves, almost soaring up into the sky.". After the construction of the great temple Pavilion, it is a new one, just like Putuo. It can be seen that more than 200 years ago, the temple in jiulongchi had a large scale. The most attractive part of the scenery of Jiulong pool is its clear water. Qianlu Xinxing Zhouzhi describes its water flowing out from the rocks and gathering into a pool, which can be seen clearly. Regardless of spring, summer, autumn and winter, countless swimming fish play with their tails. On a sunny day, the mottled shadow of the trees beside the pool is clearly and picturesquely printed in the pool; when the breeze blows, the ripples are light, the shadow of the trees is scattered, and the school of fish is swaying. There are railings around the pool. On the pool, a bridge flies across the center. On the door of the bridge, the word "Jiulong pool" is engraved. The output of Longtan is much larger than that of other local spring pools. It has always been one of the important water sources for irrigation of ten thousand mu of good farmland in Yuxi Bazi. Therefore, the predecessors have a poem: "the mountains are full of green light, the water is full of pools, the water is flowing, and the book is selfless. I don't know if it's a hundred miles away from the marquis. It's like a rainy day in Kowloon. " The rocks and cliffs of jiulongchi are towering. Along the pool steps up, in the steep top of the forest, there are pavilions, carved beams and painted buildings, resplendent. Daguanlou, Tingquan Lou, Sansheng Pavilion, Dashi Pavilion and Wenxing Pavilion all have couplets to watch. "If you want to be poor for thousands of miles, you can go to a higher level.". Wenxing Pavilion is the highest, towering and soaring into the sky. As long as you climb the building and look far away, you can have a panoramic view of the emerald Yuxi dam. The Yunnan giant pine in the garden rises from the ground, vigorous and straight, with a height of more than ten feet. It is said that it is worthy of the old monks in the temple in the Ming Dynasty. Feijinghai (reservoir) is located under Longchi. The water surface is wide and green. The West Bank of the countryside, slope peach forest, everywhere green. The mountains are winding and the fields are connected. Feijing peach is famous for its sweet taste. In recent years, the local people's government has allocated funds for restoration and established a special management organization for forest gardens, which has restored the ancient Jiulong lake to its youth. The incense is flourishing and the Bodhisattva is very smart It is said that one day Zhang Sanfeng swam to Jiulong pool and ate nine bowls of cold noodles at a stall. Because he had no money to pay, he took nine eels (evil dragons caught by Zhang Sanfeng) from the bamboo basket to the stall owner, and let the stall owner cover them with a small iron pot. He could not see the light. When he knocked a small hole on the pot the next day, water would come out of the hole. Who knows, as soon as Zhang Sanfeng left the stall, the stall owner accidentally kicked over the basin where the eels were put. Nine eels met the light and turned into dragons, and the sky was covered with dark clouds. Fortunately, Zhang Sanfeng still has a mountain town and nine dragons. Nine dragons were pressed under the mountain to spit water, and then they merged into a pool. The mountain holding down the Nine Dragons is called Qili mountain.

Scenery description

Jiulong pool is a spring at the top of the mountain. When it flows down, it forms small pools in the mountain stream. However, because the water is pure and the stone is strange, the water is colored by the stone, the stone is fresh by the water, and the water and stone match each other, which is unpredictable. It has been praised as "the first scenery of Huangshan", which shows the beauty of the scenery.

From the foot of the mountain up the stream, the stones in the stream are like altar, round and regular, and the flowers and grasses on both sides are fascinating. When you first enter the mountain, there is a stone cliff. The stream overflows from the cliff and falls to the ground to form a pool. It is a dragon pool, more than Zhang. The water is yellow green in the shallow part and dark green in the deep part. It is said that it is the place where the Dragon King takes a bath. The villagers also call it the Dragon King bathtub. On the steep wall above, there is a river pool in the shape of a grand master's chair, which is the throne for the Dragon King to enjoy the cool, so it is called "Dragon King's chair". There is a school base on the top left of the Dragon King chair, which covers an area of about one mu. It is the place where Chinese people in ancient villages study. I don't know when the school was destroyed. Erlong pool is an irregular pool, with a cylindrical shape extending to the bottom of the pool, just like an old dragon drawing water. The pool is deep and dark. Dozens of steps forward, there is a stone arch on the left side, bending legs on the back, just like a toad. This is the toad stone. There is also an interesting spectacle near erlongchi. A sudden cliff stone stands up. The front looks like the territory of China, which is named "Zhonghua stone".

The three dragon pool and the four dragon pool are the places where the dragons play and rest respectively. The distance between the four dragon pool and the Jiulong pool is not far. It is a series of deep pools on a high cliff. There are waterfalls at the top and bottom. The height is about tens of meters. In the rainy season, jade beads are splashing and the sound of water is murmuring. The scenery is very spectacular. It is said that wulongchi has the most aura, which can satisfy the rain prayers. It is said that an old dragon often lies in it, so it is called wolongchi. There is a concave shadow behind the six dragon pool. It looks like a statue of Guanyin from a distance. It has a kind face and a shape like a treasure gourd. The villagers say it's the wine gourd of monk Jigong after he was drunk. Once the wine is released, it makes the mountain people have a good and forthright character. The eight dragon pool is also called Longmen pass. The two stones stand opposite each other, holding the eight dragon pool as the dragon gate. It is said that someone once used eight pairs of hemp thread to tie up the stones and throw them to the end. Jiulong pool is more than 40 meters away from Balong pool. A stone cliff extends to the center of the pool. There are holes under the water. It's like a cow's nose, which can be used to wear ropes. It's also called a cow's nose string. Due to the dense vegetation, the nine dragon ponds are always full of fresh springs, which are never dry up. The water and waterfall are connected like beads, with different parts and combinations. Sometimes they are swift and violent, and the momentum is like thunder; sometimes they are winding and winding, and they are slow and lingering.

Further up to the top of the mountain, it suddenly becomes clear that a feldspar dam is built between the two mountains to block the clear spring and form a reservoir. The high mountain comes out of the Pinghu Lake, and the lake water is clear and green, like a huge piece of jade. The mountain wind is blowing and the waves are sparkling.
