Xinzhou Museum
Xinzhou museum is located in the West Changzheng Road, Xinzhou City. It displays 300 collections and is a local comprehensive museum.
Development history
It was prepared for construction in November 1988 and officially opened for exhibition on July 2, 1992. It belongs to the Cultural Bureau of Xinzhou administration.
architectural composition
The total exhibition area of the museum is 249 square meters, and the total length of the exhibition line is 111 meters. The museum adopts the way of general history. There are three exhibition rooms in the exhibition hall, displaying the historical relics from the Paleolithic age to the Qing Dynasty. At the same time, a large number of charts, photos and text instructions reveal the ancient culture of this area.
Collection
The museum displays 300 collections from the Paleolithic age to the Qing Dynasty, including bronze, iron, stone carvings, porcelain, currency, ivory carving, gold and silver ware, etc.
Venue features
In order to prevent the damage of ultraviolet rays to cultural relics, the exhibition hall is totally closed, which plays a role in the protection of cultural relics. The hollow ceiling at the top of the exhibition hall has air convection and smooth ventilation. The floor is covered with dark blue carpet to prevent dust. The overall tone is steady and soft, and the lighting configuration is exquisite and coordinated. The large aluminum alloy glass cabinet is used in the display cabinet, giving people a bright and natural feeling.
