Xinshi ancient town is located in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province. It has a history of thousands of years, and has a history of more than 1200 years. Hangzhou City North River viaduct to the entrance of nanzhuangdou around the city, on the Lian hang Expressway (S13), driving 30 km to the Xinshi exit, small car toll 15 yuan. After getting off the expressway (turn right, with the sign of Xinshi), drive 4 km along Xinyu line to Xinshi No.2 bridge. After getting off the bridge, take the first intersection (turn right) to Detong highway (with the sign of Xinshi), and then drive 2.5 km to Xinshi ancient town.

Main attractions

Juehai Temple: juehai temple is located in the north of Yingsheng bridge, Xinshi Town, Deqing County, Zhejiang Province. It began in the 10th year of Yuanhe (815 AD) of emperor Xianzong of Tang Dynasty and built the "Xingshan Temple of Tang Dynasty". Zhong siran, a native of Xinshi, bought the cemetery of Zhu Anqi, a senior official of Qi State in the Southern Dynasty, and reported it to Xue Rong, the governor of Huzhou, to build a temple in Zhu's tomb. Soon after the temple was destroyed, Yi Chang made great efforts to rebuild it. To the Tang Dynasty, by the Tang Yan Gong Shu plaque, hanging Shanmen, the book diameter of three feet, book body Zhuang Yi.

Taiping Bridge: a single span stone bridge across the Xiaoxi river. It was built in the Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are still several stone lions on both sides of the railings, and couplets are carved on the base of the bridge. It's a local custom that newlyweds pass by on the bridge, expecting peace and good luck.

Zhuangyuan bridge: located in the west of Le'an port in the north of the town. In the Song Dynasty, Wu Qian, a native of Xinshi, won the first prize in the examination, and later became the prime minister. Therefore, the name of the bridge implies the meaning of the title.

Bell Tower Lane: 180 meters long, 1.7 meters wide, located in juehai temple. Beautiful and elegant, antique, rich in Jiangnan Water flavor. One end of the lane is the shimmering city river and the elegant Yingsheng bridge. The ancient temple, small bridge, flowing water and deep lane are integrated to form a simple picture.

It is the hometown of Shen Quan, a famous flower and bird painter in the Qing Dynasty - Xinshi, an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River.

About Xinshi, the origin of the largest water transport terminal on the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal is related to a legendary flood.

Xinshi, formerly known as Lushi, was called Xiantan in ancient times. According to the records of Zhenzhi, in the summer of 308, the second year of Yongjia in Jin Dynasty, there was a rainy month. The flood broke out and Lushi was submerged. Under the leadership of a hero, people began a long journey of migration.

Finally, they came to a place where the river network is like weaving, the water smoke is indifferent, and the lush reeds are all over Tingzhou. We don't know what Tingzhou looked like at that time. We only know that when our ancestors met this land surrounded by water, they did not hesitate to stay.

They open up wasteland here for farming, spinning and weaving, and giving birth to children. Then, in memory of the "Lushi" they once lived in, they changed the name of the "Lushi" to "Xinshi", which is our original home.

2008 is the 1700 anniversary of the founding of Xinshi ancient town.

Gao Shilin (1897-1984): born in Deqing new city, Zhejiang Province, he studied in Xiantan academy, Zhijiang University, Hujiang University, missionary school, and served as a pastor. Gao Tiankang, male, was born in October 1929 in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Professor Gao Tiankang graduated from the Music Department of East China Normal University in 1952. He has been engaged in art teaching in Northwest China for nearly 40 years. He has successively taught in the music departments of East China Normal University, Gansu Normal University, Lanzhou Institute of art, Northwest Normal University and other colleges, and served as the director of the teaching and research section of theoretical composition and the director of the music department. Unique folk custom

Every year during the Qingming Festival, the silkworm farmers pray for the silkworm God to clear away diseases and disasters for the silkworm babies and hold the silkworm flower temple fair for the high-yield year. Every year on this day, farmers from counties and towns near Xinshi rush to juehai temple, Siqian street, siqiannong, yanzhinong and Beijie. Buddhist believers go to Lingqian mountain to worship Buddha and pray for "five grain harvest". Rural women dress up with silkworm eggs and put all kinds of silkworm flowers on their heads, which attract people to watch. People come to see the crowd, so it's called "rolling silkworm flowers". After the temple fair, people begin to cultivate in spring Silkworm.
