Chaoyang Pavilion of Shuiyue cave
Chaoyang Pavilion of Shuiyue cave is located in Shuiyue cave of Xiangbi mountain. It was built in Song Dynasty. The pavilion had been abandoned for a long time, but it was named after Shuiyue cave more than 800 years ago.
Development history
In Shuiyue cave of xiangbishan, built in the Song Dynasty, the pavilion has been abandoned for a long time. However, more than 800 years ago, a back-to-back lawsuit between two former and later governors of Guizhou over the naming of Shuiyue cave has always been an eternal topic for tourists here. It turns out that in the second year of Qiandao reign in the Southern Song Dynasty (1166 AD), Zhang Xiaoxiang toured Shuiyue cave and stayed there until late. He soon revisited Shuiyue cave. He wrote a poem and wrote a preface happily. Because the entrance of the cave was eastward, the names of the pavilion, cave and rock were all named "Chaoyang", and the place to record his event was in the north wall of Shuiyue cave. Later, Fan Chengda, the leader of GUI, took a different view and restored the original name. He wrote the inscription of Fushui moon cave and engraved it on the south wall of the cave.
