Shangsuzhuang Village Fort

Shangsuzhuang fort is located at the foot of the southeast mountain of Songjiazhuang Town, with more than 600 households. It is the oldest Village Fort in the south of Yuxian County, with simple and unique folk customs. The village is not big, but there are a lot of things to see and play. The appearance of the village is very original.

Shangsuzhuang, with a history of more than 400 years, still retains many authentic folk traditions, such as sacrificing ice disaster at midnight on New Year's Eve, worshiping the son of man on the eighth day of the first lunar month, erecting lamp poles, pasting Spring Festival couplets twice during the Spring Festival, worshiping Dengshan on the third day of the Lantern Festival, and eating noodle tea on the second of February. Every year on the 14th, 15th and 16th days of the first month of the lunar calendar, shangsuzhuang fort is very lively, because the annual folk fire activity of worshiping Dengshan in shangsuzhuang is in full swing. This activity has been handed down from generation to generation and has lasted for more than 400 years. It is an ancient and unique social fire landscape during the first month of Yuxian.

The unique village appearance and cultural atmosphere of shangsuzhuang have attracted the attention of Xu film and television practitioners. A large number of scenes have been shot in the TV series "martial arts team behind enemy lines", "Liangjian", "Fei" and "wolf venom flower", which makes it more well-known.
