Wanchun Pavilion

Wanchunting is located in the south of fubiting in the imperial garden. It was built in 1536. Wanchunting and qianqiuting are a pair of buildings with the same shape and structure, only caisson color paintings have subtle differences.

The specific difference is that on the top of the Baoding, there are cloud inscriptions (or flame patterns) on the top of Wanchun Pavilion, while Qianqiu Pavilion does not.

Wanchun Pavilion

Wanchunting has two places in Beijing:

1、 Wanchunting in the Forbidden City

Wanchunting is located in the south of fubiting in the imperial garden of the Forbidden City. It was built in 1536. Wanchunting and qianqiuting are a pair of buildings with the same shape and structure, only caisson color paintings have subtle differences.

The specific difference is that on the top of the Baoding, there are cloud inscriptions (or flame patterns) on the top of Wanchun Pavilion, while Qianqiu Pavilion does not.

2、 Jingshan Wanchun Pavilion

Wanchunting is located in the middle peak of Jingshan, with a relative height of 45.7 meters. It is the highest and best scenic spot on the north-south axis of Beijing.

Built in 1751, Wanchun Pavilion is 17.4 meters high and covers an area of 18 square meters.
