Yanyushan

Yanyushan is located at the junction of Jingzhuang town and DAZHUANGKE Township in Yanqing County, about 15 kilometers west of Yanqing town. It is one of the main peaks of Jundu mountain, with an altitude of 1278 meters. The mountain extends to the northeast, connects with shibapanling and fengtuoliang in the northeast, opposite Badaling across Sichuan in the southwest, and rises together with Sanshan in the southeast of Yanqing Basin. There are small shrubberies on the shady slope and apricots in the eastern foothills. There is a medium-sized molybdenum mine nearby.

Landscape features

Yanyushan is also known as Yanshan by local people. Overlooking yanyushan, it looks like a straight volcanic cone standing on the mountains, with two peaks standing like the tail of a swallow. Close up, it looks like two or three feathers stabbing at the sky. This may be the origin of the name of Yanyu mountain. According to the map, dongjiagou, Shancun, jingergou and shatanggou in DAZHUANGKE township are closest to Yanyu mountain, so we should choose the road to the mountain.

In the north of Yanyu mountain, there are roads leading to the foot of the main peak. There is a bus from the county to Sisi, walking southward to qinglongtan, and a spectacular ice waterfall in winter. After climbing to the top, you can go down the mountain to guoguoyuan village to eat tripe feast, or walk to Liugou to eat tofu feast. Liugou is an ancient city with city walls, ancient trees, ancient temples, and bean curd banquets.
