Zhalantun Museum
Zhalantun museum is a national third-class Museum.
In April 2005, the office building of the former Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference was converted into a museum. From the beginning of May to the end of October 2005, the reconstruction and exhibition project of the museum was successfully completed and officially opened on September 2, 2006.
Zhalantun City Museum and cultural relics protection and Management Institute have two brands of one organization, which are subordinate to the Bureau of culture, sports, radio and television.
Development history
Located at No. 8-1, North Central Road, Zhalantun City, the museum was built in 1905 in Slavic architectural style. Its predecessor was the Middle East Railway, a place of entertainment for tsarist aristocrats. It was converted into a museum in May 2005. It covers an area of 2800 square meters and has a building area of 780 square meters. There are five exhibition halls including history hall, ethnic hall, Middle East Railway hall, achievement hall and honor hall. The exhibition hall covers an area of 350 square meters, with 236 cultural relics, 275 pictures, 8 specimens, 8 trophies and 41 medals on display.

The basic display pattern is foreword, the first unit is prehistoric civilization, the second unit is early nationalities, the third unit is Liao Dynasty, the fourth unit is Jin Dynasty, and the fifth unit is yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Department of Nationalities
The basic display pattern is as follows: (1) Mongolian costumes; (2) Daur costumes; (3) Oroqen costumes; (4) Ewenki costumes; (5) Korean costumes. Ten garments and eight specimens were exhibited.
Railway Department
The first unit is the construction of the Middle East Railway, the second unit is the Middle East Railway in the period of tsarist Russia, the third unit is the change of railway sovereignty, the fourth unit is the re ownership of the Middle East Railway, and the fifth unit is the dawn of revolution.

Honor Hall
Zhalantun city has won trophies and medals at provincial and ministerial levels in recent years. At present, the museum has 1000 cultural relics, including 2 first-class cultural relics, 3 second-class cultural relics and 22 third-class cultural relics.
