Optimus Prime is a character in transformers. Optimus Prime is the leader of Autobots in the series of transformers.

In the first "Transformers" work "G1 animation" in the 1980s, Optimus Prime was transformed into a container truck (with built-in defensive turret and small ball). In the later works, there are different degrees of changes in shape and vehicle form.

Nine million years ago, when the war broke out in the old Cybertron, Optimus Prime was just an ordinary transformer named Orion Pax. In Transformers 2: make a comeback, in order to let Optimus Prime use his body parts to restore combat effectiveness and duel with Fallen King Kong, Skyfire sacrificed himself to offer his own fire to Optimus Prime, and the body parts become a set of heavy firepower armor that can fly on Optimus Prime. The super combination of Optimus Prime and Skyfire defeated Megatron, Starscream, Fallen King Kong and other powerful enemies. At the end of the battle, Optimus Prime took these parts off and restored them to their original state.

In Transformers 3: dark of the moon, this armor is used to fight again, but it is much lighter than the previous one.
