Ewenki is a forest hunting ethnic group with a long history. It is a "cross-border ethnic group" distributed in China and the Russian Federation. There are 30505 people in China, including 221 people in the Aoluguya ethnic township. The language belongs to the Altaic language family, Tungusic language family and Ewenki language branch.
"Ewenki" is the name of Ewenki people, which means "people living in the mountains". Among them, the Aoluguya Ewenki people are named after the "Aoluguya riverside" in the north of Daxinganling, which is called "Shilu Ewenki people".
