Yang ancestral hall is a family ancestral hall built in the 12th year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. It belongs to the place where Yang clan worships ancestors and sages. It was established in a residential community about 500 meters away from the West Bank of Minjiang River in Guanying Town, WUTONGQIAO district because of the Jinshi of Yang family. The temple is northwest to Southeast, facing the Leshan Buddha across the river, with excellent Feng Shui. It is said that this place is the place where Liu benzun, the sixth generation founder of Chinese Esoterism, practiced. According to the local chronicle, "there is Liu benzun in Tianchi courtyard, who was transformed by Guanyin. There is one entrance in front of the gate. He once gouged out one eye and gave it up in the well. The common people are blind and get water and wash it immediately.".

Yangzongci temple is located in group 8, Tianchi village, Guanying Town, Wutongqiao District, with an altitude of 343 meters. It is composed of gate, theater building, front hall, wing room, main room and garden. The plane is rectangular and surrounded by walls. It covers an area of 3546.2 square meters and a building area of 945.63 square meters. The gate is of archway type, with the top of veranda on the fifth floor and eight character wall, with a width of 23 meters. There are three doors in the front, the middle of which is the main door, with stone lintels and high relief carving of "Qun Xian Gong Shou". The doors on both sides are arched. Brick Gables are built on both sides in front of the gate. The theater building is connected with the gate, which is a stilted building with two floors. Lifting beam type wooden frame, resting on the top of the mountain. The main ridge, the vertical ridge and the berm ridge are decorated, and the vase back is applied before the vertical ridge. The front hall is suspended on the top of the mountain, with five wide faces, a front porch, a beam lifting and bucket structure, and a small green tile roof. The two sides are connected with the wall with brick walls, and arches are opened on the wall. The wing room is two stories high, with front porch, overhanging the top of the mountain, small green tile roof and tiled ridge. The main hall is the highest part of the whole complex, with five rooms in width and four rooms in depth, and a front porch with boat Pavilion. It is a hybrid structure with beams and buckets, suspended on the top of the mountain and small green tile roof. Xuanzhu, rafters are painted. There is a inscription on the ridge. The front hall, the wing room and the main hall form a courtyard style, and there are drainage ditches under the eaves of the front hall and the wing room.

The wall is made of brick, which is 0.37M thick, with one steep and one small, and the middle is empty. It has been widely used in Sichuan since the Qing Dynasty. The joints between the bricks are pointed with lime mortar. The garden is located in the west of the building and is now overgrown with weeds.

The architectural layout of Yang Zong temple has the universality since the Qing Dynasty. The building is made of brick, stone, wood and other materials. The archway style main entrance has a large building volume and exquisite carving and painting. The color paintings on the main room and the walking horse window are rare folk color paintings in Sichuan Province. They are important material for studying the theme and techniques of Sichuan folk color paintings. The ancestral temple of Yang is of great value to the study of local immigration and clan system.

The ancient well in the ancestral hall of Yang in tianchiba is still in good condition. The red "elegant stone" beside the well has been ground out of the pit. It can be seen that there are many people coming to get water. Covering an area of 2230 square meters, the ancestral hall is a compound quadrangle wooden structure building. Behind the archway gate is a theater building, which combines with the main hall and the west chamber, and has a strict layout. On both sides of the ear door, the left one is made of white stone, and the right one is made of red elegant stone. There are two red and white doors: Bai Zheng and Yang family are both literate and martial, and both red and white are the crowns. In the courtyard of this ancient house, it is full of anecdotes. In the temple, there is an ancient tree, Osmanthus fragrans, which was planted when the temple was built. It blooms three times a year. The fragrance floats in the Tianchi Lake, and the ancient tree, Nanzhen, is towering. In the 1990s, a headmaster surnamed Yang sold Zhennan tree, and Jin Gui died one after another. As a result, the headmaster who sold the tree suffered from cerebral hemorrhage and stayed in bed for more than 10 years. This is one of the oddities.

In all the rooms in the compound, no matter whether there are people living or not, there are no traces of spiders, which has been the case for many years. Of course, mosquitoes are rare. In some old houses in Hexi, there are no mosquitoes, but those without spiders are unique to Yang Zongci. This is the second strange thing.

Since the founding of tianchiba ancestral hall, myopia is rare among students. However, after leaving the school to study elsewhere, myopia begins to appear. I don't know whether it is the air in the ancestral hall or the well water. Students' test scores are also better than other schools. This is the third strange thing.

There are also two large ancestral halls (such as Chen ancestral hall) close to Yang ancestral hall, which were demolished after liberation, but Yang ancestral hall was spared. This is the fourth strange thing.
