Manting Park

"Chunhuan" means "the garden of the soul". There are eight scenic spots in the park, including national culture square, liana plant area, tropical orchid garden, Peacock Garden, Fangsheng lake, Buddhist culture area, tree planting Memorial area and tea garden culture area. There are more than 500 well preserved ancient iron knife woods and vegetation. Manting Park

Manting park is located in the southeast of Jinghong City, the capital of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, about 2km away from the city. It is located in the triangle of Lancang River and Liusha River, covering an area of more than 400 mu. There are more than 500 well preserved ancient iron knife wood forests and vegetation, hills and rivers in the park, and cultural landscape with strong ethnic characteristics. It is a natural village park. It used to be the Dai royal garden, which has a history of more than 1300 years. The scenic spot embodies the three themes of "Dai royal culture, Buddhist culture and Dai Folk Culture". Manting park is the oldest Park in Xishuangbanna. Manting Park was originally a Dai royal garden, called "chunhuan", which means "soul garden". It is only 2 kilometers away from the city center and covers an area of 24000 square meters. The main entrance is located in the south of the park. There are six scenic spots in the park, including national culture square, liana plant area, Yulan garden, Fangsheng lake, Buddhist culture area and tree planting Memorial area.

In the Buddhist culture area, there are wabajie, the most famous Buddhist temple in Xishuangbanna, and Baita, Bajiaoting and Fangsheng lake. On the left side of the statue are two bodhi trees planted by the princess of Thailand, which symbolize the friendship between China and Thailand.

In the park, there are also holy manxilong bamboo pagoda, wabajie general Buddhist temple in Xishuangbanna, exquisite simulation modeling of Jingzhen octagonal pavilion, four corner Pavilion, six corner Pavilion and Dai Sala Pavilion. Next to the park is Manting Dai village, which together form a trinity of park, village and Buddhist temple.

The highlight of Manting park is the evening performance with national characteristics and bonfire party. The night of "Lancang Mekong River" is a collection of cultural characteristics of six Lancang Mekong River Valley countries, including China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. It also includes folk customs performances of Dai, Jino, Bulang, Lahu, Yao and Hani ethnic minorities living in Xishuangbanna.
