Built in 1904-1908, it is composed of main building and auxiliary building. There were different versions of the original residence, one was the German Navy residence, the other was the residence of the adjutant of the German governor, so the people in Qingdao called it "the second governor building". It has a construction area of 808.11 square meters, two floors high, with attic and basement. In 1914, the building was bought by a Chinese. In 1922, it became the property of the Qingdao Branch of Mitsui products Co., Ltd. as the private residence of successive branch presidents. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, the house became the official residence of the captain of the Qingdao security team. After liberation until now, this building is the office building of the municipal procuratorate.
