Historical evolution
In the first year of Tang BAOYING (762), Li Bai died. Li Yangbing, the magistrate of Dangtu County, buried him at the east foot of Longshan mountain in the south of the city.
In 817, Xuanshe, the son of fan Zuo, Li Bai's best friend, observed that fan chuanzheng and Zhuge Zong, the magistrate of Dangtu County, worked together to bury Li Bai in the Castle Peak opposite Longshan.
In 1938, the Taibai temple in Li Bai's tomb was destroyed in the war.
In 1979, the people's Government of Dangtu County rebuilt the Taibai tomb.
In 1982, Li Bai's tomb was expanded and more than 20 mu of good farmland was expropriated from gujia village
.
In October 2007, due to the decay of the forest structure of Taibai stele, part of the rafters were broken, the roof sank and the tiles fell off. In order to ensure the safety of tourists, the site of Libai tomb was closed and repaired.
In April 2008, the maintenance project of Taibai stele forest of Libai tomb was completed, and it was reopened before Qingming Festival

On March 28, 2017, due to the integration of Libai Tomb scenic area (3a level) into Libai cultural tourism area (4A level) in Daqingshan, Maanshan tourism scenic area quality rating committee decided to cancel the national 3A level of Libai Tomb scenic area

Tomb of Li Bai
Li Bai's tomb is round and made of square bluestone. In front of the tomb, there is a Qing dynasty pattern stele, on which is engraved "the tomb of Li Taibai, a famous sage of the Tang Dynasty", which is said to be written by Du Fu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. According to textual research, there is a Tang stele carved by fan chuanzheng, a Xuanshe observer of the Tang Dynasty, and Li Bai's immortal bone in the tomb

Ten chanting pavilions
On the left side of the cemetery of Li Bai's tomb is a "Qinglian pool", with an arched "Huahe bridge" across the pool and a "ten chanting Pavilion". In his later years, Li Bai wrote ten poems about mountains and rivers in Dangtu, which is called "ten chants of Gu who". Later generations built pavilions on the banks of Guxi to express their aspirations, and later destroyed them in the "Cultural Revolution". Later, the newly built "ten chanting Pavilion" was engraved with Li Bai's "ten chants of Gu who" on the stone tablet in the center of the pavilion

Taibai Temple
On the left side of the ten chanting Pavilion is Taibai temple. Before and after two into, plain white wall, gray black tile top. The temple is paved with green bricks, and the eaves are towering. On the lintel of the main court Hung Lin Sanzhi's handwritten plaque of "Taibai Temple". A white marble statue of Li Bai, 2.47 meters high and weighing about 3 tons, stands face to face in the hall. The statue stands on its side, pressing the sword with its left hand, eyes with wisdom behind its right hand, and whiskers fluttering

Taibai temple is located on the central axis of the cemetery. The background of the statue in the hall is a dark green micro print, which takes Li Bai's journey in Dangtu as freehand brushwork. Above the print is a plaque titled "Li Bai's high trace" by Shutong, a calligrapher. Under the hall, in the middle and upper part of the hall, there is a plaque written by situ, a calligrapher. Six stone tablets are inlaid on both sides of the wall: one is engraved with Li Bai's whole body portrait; one is engraved with Li Bai's "linlu song"; the other three are re engraved with the inscriptions written by Li Hua, Liu quanbai and Pei Jing of the Tang Dynasty, and the most precious one is the surviving one of the Song Dynasty

Taibai stele forest
There are 106 pieces of Li Bai's classic poems written by calligraphers in the forest of Taibai steles. The authors are Mao Zedong, Lu Xun, Guo Moruo, Yu Youren, Sha Menghai, Lin Sanzhi, Chu Tunan, qigong, Chen Lifu, Shen Peng, etc. the forest of Taibai steles integrates poetry, calligraphy and architectural art, and is a representative work of high-quality culture

Cultural relics
In the second year of song Chun (1242), Ma Mengdian, who was also in charge of Taiping state affairs, controlled the army. According to the inscriptions written by fan chuanzheng of Tang Dynasty, "the inscriptions are heavy on calligraphy and stone carving, standing on the left side of the tomb.". The stone is five feet seven inches high and two feet nine inches wide, with a total of 30 lines and 63 characters in the first line. It is a regular book with six characters in diameter. It records Li Bai's life experience and poetry achievements in detail, and is inscribed with nine characters "Li Gongxin's tombstone in the Imperial Academy of Tang Dynasty". Li Bai (701-762), a great romantic poet in Tang Dynasty, was called "poetic immortal" and "Li Du" together with Du Fu. In order to distinguish him from the other two poets Li Shangyin and Du Mu, i.e. "little Li Du", Du Fu and Li Bai were also called "big Li Du". According to the records of the new Tang Dynasty, Li Bai was the ninth grandson of emperor Xingsheng (Li Li, king of Liangwu Zhao) and lived in the same family as other kings of the Tang Dynasty.
