General situation

Lihua village, formerly known as Nanzhuang Village, is under the jurisdiction of Panggezhuang Town, Daxing District, Beijing. It was renamed Lihua village in 1981. Lihua village has more than 3500 mu of old fruit trees with more than 100000 new and old trees.

At present, there are 330 households with 960 people who live by planting fruit trees, with an annual fruit output of more than 3 million jin. With the development of new rural construction and tourism, Lihua village has developed into a municipal folk tourism village, which is the only fruit tree village in Beijing.

As of 2008, there are 1345 households in the village, with a rural population of 5164, including 2562 males and 2602 females, including 5164 agricultural population, 3576 labor force and 2343 people engaged in primary industry; the village is mainly Han nationality, and is a mixed community of Miao and Yi Nationalities, with 233 Miao.

The first industry in the village drives the harmonious and steady development of the third industry, the income of farmers is increasing, and the per capita income of farmers is in the leading position in the whole town and even the whole region. In 2006, it was designated as a pilot village of new rural construction at the municipal level by Beijing. All 18 streets in the village have been hardened, forming a pattern of "one road, six streets lead to North and south, nine roads and two lanes go through East and west". In accordance with the principle of "one street, one product", pomegranate, persimmon, jujube, hawthorn and other fruit trees are planted on both sides of the road, which not only beautifies the environment, but also brings economic income to the villagers.

In the village, water and electricity were transformed, 371 dry toilets were changed into three types of water flushing toilets, and 141 hanging Kang were built for the villagers. 218 solar street lamps are installed in each street to facilitate the villagers to travel at night. The ten thousand mu pear garden in Panggezhuang is an ancient pear tree community with the largest planting area, the earliest flowering and the most varieties in Beijing. The central area is located in the village. Now 30000 ancient pear trees have been preserved for more than one hundred years, making it a rare plain ancient pear forest community in China. There are more than 40 varieties of pear trees in the village. Gongli, which is 417 years old, was granted the title of "jinbahuang" by the emperor.

According to Wanshu Zaji, during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a scholar surnamed Kou in the village, who was knowledgeable in astronomy and geography, had all kinds of knowledge, and was proficient in poetry, poetry and Fu. When he answered correctly, he came with his mouth open. Therefore, it was appreciated by the Ming emperor and was often called into the palace to talk about the past and the present. No one in the local people dares to look down upon him and call him a "senior official.".

One year, it was the Mid Autumn Festival. The emperor called him to the palace to drink and enjoy the moon together. After three rounds of wine and five flavors of food, the emperor said to him, "Kou Aiqing, today I want you to taste something. What do you guess?" "Is it moon cake?" said Kou "No way." After that, the emperor took out a white radish and said to the official Kou, "my favorite food is radish, which was paid by Beicun the day before yesterday. This kind of radish has white skin and green flesh. It's called "onion heart green". It's sweet and crisp. It tastes excellent Instead of rushing to pick up the radish, Kou said to the emperor, "Your Majesty, I will bring you a special product of our village today." Having said that, he took out two pears and put them on the table. The emperor took them and bit them in his mouth. He only felt that they were sweeter than sugar. They were really sweet and fragrant. When the emperor asked what the name of the pear was, the official Kou said, "this is Yali. There is no other name." It is said that there is no smarter Emperor than his family. Since the Ming emperor beat Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, he has been right and right, and the emperor of Wanli is no exception. He said to senior official Kou, "I have a first couplet here. You can give me a second couplet." Kou said, "Your Majesty, please speak." I saw the emperor picked up the radish, said with a smile: "North Village radish green heart." After thinking for a moment, the officer saw the pears left on the table and immediately replied, "Nanzhuang Yali is golden and yellow." On hearing this, the emperor clapped his hands and exclaimed, "yes, it's good. The structure is rigorous and the content is appropriate. What a "golden yellow pear" in Nanzhuang. Today, I'm going to call this pear "golden yellow". From next year, don't pay tribute to radishes. Pay tribute to the golden pear of Nanzhuang. " From then on, the pear in Nanzhuang has been called "golden yellow". The cultivation of golden palms has been handed down to this day.

Relying on the name of the ten thousand mu pear garden and tribute fruit, Lihua village began to hold the first flower appreciation and picking festival in 1994. Ten thousand mu pear flowers competed for beauty, attracting tourists from all over the world. So far, the flower festival has been in its 16th year, and the popularity of Lihua village has gradually improved. Driven by the two festivals, people in the village began to engage in folk reception. In recent years, Lihua village has invested more than 10 million yuan in the construction of rural folk tourism facilities. The village has been built into a municipal tourism reception village with complete tourism facilities and service functions, and has been rated as the "advanced village for rural tourism development in the suburbs of Beijing" by Beijing.

With the support of the relevant departments of the town, the village Party branch has conducted professional training for the folk tourism practitioners in the village, and held various training courses on food hygiene, civilized etiquette, laws and regulations, pastry cooking, etc., which have benefited more than 500 villagers, further improved the comprehensive quality and service level of the tourism reception personnel, and laid the foundation for the development of rural tourism in Lihua village.

Up to now, there are more than 60 folk tourism reception households in the village. Relying on the first industry and excavating the third industry, farmers have more and more money.

Lihua village is the hometown of pear. Here, you can enjoy the flowers in spring, the leaves in summer, the fruits in autumn and the branches in winter. Here, you can see the beautiful scenery of nature. Here, there are not only human landscapes, but also natural landscapes. The "tribute tree" of more than 400 years is flourishing and fruitful. The story of "Beicun radish green heart, Nanzhuang Yali golden yellow" can make visitors find the feeling of the emperor of that year. The naturally formed "ten sceneries of pear garden" make visitors linger and admire. Spring scenery: Bird crowing in the morning, pear blossom spring rain, moon shadow and silver flower, fireworks and fragrant snow; summer scenery: lush leaves, dense shade and green garden; autumn scenery: golden fruit fragrance, frost leaf flowing elixir; winter scenery: pure ice, clear snow and sunset. No matter which season, what is left to tourists is a kind of intoxication.

The clean and tidy environment in the village also attracts visitors' attention. The neat streets form a checkerboard pattern. All kinds of flowers, plants, fruits and trees are planted on both sides of the road. The blooming February orchids play a good role in dust prevention and sand fixation. Different fruit trees in each street blossom and bear fruit at different times, making people relaxed and happy.

One hundred meters to the south of the village is Beijing Aerospace Science Education base, eight kilometers to the east of the village is Jingnan wildlife park, and eight kilometers to the north of the village is knight park.

Humanistic Construction

Lihua village is an old fruit village with a long history and the most fruit trees in the suburbs of Beijing. Once, because there were too many pears, sales became a problem, coupled with unscientific management, the quality of pears was not high. Aiming at the problems of fruit management and fruit sales, the village Party branch and the Village Committee visited other places for many times, and advertised pears in newspapers of other provinces and cities, which achieved good results. The village set up a wholesale market and attracted a lot of merchants. In those years, when they had no experience, low popularity and narrow space, they sold seven assorted pears with train skins to the northeast, and the price increased by 10 cents per catty on average. The problem of selling pears has been solved, which is a great income for the villagers, and all the people applaud. The Party branch believes that the key is to serve the villagers well. In order to prevent the villagers from buying fake drugs, the village and Tianjin pesticide factory were linked up to directly feed drugs to ensure the quality of pesticides.

In order to improve the level of mass management of fruit trees, the village invited experts from Beijing Academy of Agricultural Sciences and fruit technicians from the township government at that time to give regular lectures and carry out technical training, so that the masses can truly master the scientific management of fruit trees, and achieve a series of measures such as watering, fertilizing, pruning, flower thinning, fruit thinning and bagging on time, so as to improve the quality and yield of fruit year by year.
