Shuichushan children's Park
Shuichushan children's Park shuichushan is located in Shibei District, more than 90 meters above sea level. The two peaks of the mountain are opposite, concave in the middle and saddle shaped, so it is called Ma'anshan. After the German occupation of Qingdao, it was called "moultok mountain"
Two water storage tanks will be built to supply water for the whole city. People call it "water storage mountain". During the period of the first Japanese occupation of Qingdao, it was renamed "Ruohe mountain". In 1915, the Japanese Qingdao shrine was built on the northern slope of the mountain. Because its building is similar to Chinese temples, it is commonly known as the Japanese Temple. At the same time, "Ruohe Park" was built. After the Chinese government took back Qingdao in 1922, it was officially named "water storage mountain", and Ruohe Park was changed into "the second park". From the mid-1980s to the mid-1940s, Qingdao shrine once became a tourist attraction with more tourists. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, the authorities changed it into "martyr's temple" and set July 7 as the memorial day every year. A public memorial ceremony was held here to commemorate the "July 7 Incident" and the Chinese soldiers who died for the country during the Anti Japanese war. However, the people of Qingdao, who were deeply humiliated by the Japanese, could not accept it. They soon smashed the Qingdao shrine and changed it into "Yantai middle school in exile". The second park was destroyed during the second occupation of Qingdao by Japan. After liberation, after many times of greening and construction, the water storage mountain was named "water storage Mountain Park" in 1956. In 1984, it was rebuilt as a children's Park, with children's amusement facilities such as small trains, double flying, moon landing rockets, etc., 12 zodiac sculptures, open-air roller skating rink, viewing Pavilion, circular corridor, colorful music controlled fountain, etc. Qingdao children's palace and red scarf theater is located in the park. On the top of the mountain stands the TV transmitting tower of Qingdao TV station. The park is under closed management.
