Qingdao West Coast ecological tourism park is the first phase part of Qingdao Lingshan Bay scenic area, covering an area of 1500 mu. It is located at No. 3666, Jiaozhou Bay East Road, Huangdao District, Qingdao City, and belongs to Qingdao West Coast Modern Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qingdao West Coast Development group). The park is located on the west side of Qingdao Lingshan Bay film and Television Cultural Industrial Zone, at the intersection of Jiaozhou Bay East Road and Shanhai Road, east of Oriental movie capital, west of Lianghe Road, south of Binhai Avenue, north of Xiaozhu mountain range, with unique natural environment and geographical location.

Taking "flower sea, garden, mountain and water system" as the ecological elements, and centering on "slow life" as the main line, the park highlights the theme of "romantic flower sea, children's recreation, leisure experience and film and television service". It is a Resort Park in Qingdao characterized by idyllic flower sea and weekend leisure.

In 2015, Qingdao West Coast Development Group invested more than 150 million yuan in the development.

On April 9, 2016, Qingdao West Coast ecological tourism park was put into trial operation.

geographical environment

Qingdao West Coast ecological tourism park is the first phase part of Qingdao Lingshan Bay scenic area, covering an area of 1500 mu. It is located at No. 3666, Jiaozhou Bay East Road, Huangdao District, Qingdao City, and belongs to Qingdao West Coast Modern Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. The park is located on the west side of Qingdao Lingshan Bay film and Television Cultural Industrial Zone, at the intersection of Jiaozhou Bay East Road and Shanhai Road, east of Oriental movie capital, west of Lianghe Road, south of Binhai Avenue, north of Xiaozhu mountain range, with unique natural environment and geographical location.

The project was originally located in the former site of Jiangjiayao village, Yinzhu street. West coast development group combined the reconstruction of the old village with the construction of Shanhai Road, Jiaozhou Bay East Road and the construction project of Star Island, the Oriental film capital. After realizing the planning of widening both sides of Jiaozhou Bay East Road and connecting the East and West, 170000 cubic meters of earth and stone were used for the coastline arrangement of Oriental film capital. After overall planning, the West Coast Development Group has successfully completed the construction of the east coast The development group decided to carry out ecological restoration of the former site of Jiangjiayao village. Since March 2015, 1500 mu of land has been leveled, construction waste and gravel have been cleared, and the park has been built into a West Coast ecological sightseeing park integrating flower sea landscape and leisure tourism. The completion of the project adds a valuable Green Park to the city.

On April 9, 2016, Qingdao West Coast ecological tourism park was put into trial operation.

Main attractions

1、 Rape flower sea (Verbena flower sea)

It covers an area of 100 mu and blooms from early April to early May every year. Brassica napus is the general name of dozens of species of Brassica plants in Cruciferae family. It is an important oil crop. The yield of rapeseed is about 500 Jin per mu, and 150-250 Jin per mu. The planting area of Brassica napus in China is about 100 million mu, accounting for 80% of the world. It is traditionally distributed in the Yangtze River Basin. It is famous in Wuyuan of Jiangxi Province, Luoping of Yunnan Province, and Hanzhong of Shaanxi Province Spring fairies are the first to open. From the south to the north, the garden is full of golden flowers and fragrant shops, attracting a large number of tourists.

In late May, after the flowering period of rape, it will be replanted with Verbena. Verbena officinalis is a plant of Verbenaceae, flowering from June to October. Native to Europe, the whole strain can be used as medicine.

2、 Lavender flower field

The total area is 100 mu, and the flowering period is from June to July and from September to October every year. It is located on the northeast side of the park. It is a narrow leaf Lavender from Provence, France. Its fragrance is elegant and fragrant. Its essential oils are of high quality and high quality perfume and spices. Lavender is widely used in pharmacology, lavender oil can reduce and treat insect bites, can alleviate the symptoms of headache, and lavender bouquet can drive away insects. Lavender flower language is waiting for love, is a symbol of romantic love.

3、 Volcanic rock barbecue area

Close to the east side of lavender flower sea, there are 12 thatched cottage barbecue kiosks and 7 Theme cartoon cabins (jungle adventure, treasure hunt, mysterious cave, spirit Kingdom, magic castle, half animal nest, hobbit house, etc.) in the garden landscape. The volcanic rock barbecue area provides a place for tourists to experience the fun of picnics and bonfire parties by themselves.

4、 Yurt camp, RV camp

Located in the east of the volcanic rock barbecue area is the yurt camp. There are 52 yurts, which are designed according to the five themes of Chinese wedding and ethnic customs. Each yurt has a diameter of 6-8 meters and 28-40 square meters. On the south side of the volcanic rock barbecue area, there is a first-class RV campsite in China, and there are 40 luxury RV gardens, each covering an area of 200 square meters, which are divided into seven different theme styles: sports, cartoon, American style, children, etc. RV sets "clothing, food, housing and transportation" in one, and has all kinds of living facilities. It has two rooms and one hall, one room and one hall, and can provide up to four beds.

5、 Fantasy rafting (open in July)

Between the south side of the RV campsite and the north side of the reservoir dam is the starting point of rafting. The river meanders for nearly 1 km, and the scenery is beautiful all the way. After barbecue area, camping area, lavender flower field, colorful flower slope, rape flower field and other areas, it reaches the water town. The whole rafting experience is dominated by vulgar slow drifting, and there are some children's amusement facilities downstream.

6、 Colorful flower slope

Qicaihuapo covers an area of 40000 square meters. It is planted with lavender, Phlox, tulip, pansy, gesanghua and other seasonal flowers.

7、 Dream palace

The central axis square, located at the entrance of the north gate of the park, borrows from the Polish manor style of Krakow Church in Poland, which can accommodate 200 people. The west side of the dream hall is equipped with flower lawn and Roman Pavilion. Indoor and outdoor are more suitable for holding western wedding and taking wedding photos.

8、 Plant Science Park

Located on the west side of the park, the science park has opened up a gentle slope, which is a natural classroom for children's cognition and science popularization.

9、 Brick kiln theme bar

It is located in the geographical center of the park. According to the old brick kilns and chimneys in the park, it is as old as before and is well decorated. As a catering meeting area in the park, it can accommodate 200 people at the same time.

10、 Children's paradise

In the east of Yaoba, there is no power children's paradise, covering an area of 1000 square meters, with Castle slide, Trojan horse, seesaw and other facilities, which are free to open all day.

11、 Performing Arts Square (not yet open)

It is located in the east of the kiln bar, with volcanic rock as the theme style, and has an open-air theater of 600-1000 people. There are also 4D cinema, virtual roller coaster, live surfing, shooting and other 4D movies and VR games in the Performing Arts Square. The square is not open yet.

12、 West Coast Equestrian Club

Covering an area of 300 mu, it has 14 horse ecological stables, 400 meter long elliptical standard track, 500 seat grandstand and 600 square meter training ground. Equestrian sport is elegant and exciting, which is called the first noble sport in the West. With the progress of society and the development of economy, equestrian sport has become a kind of life fashion of modern people. Horseback riding makes people highly concentrated, and the whole body is in motion.

In December 2015, Qingdao West Coast ecological tourism park was rated as a national AAA scenic spot

So far, there are 112 A-level scenic spots in the island city, including 1 5A scenic spot, 23 4A scenic spots and 88 3a and below scenic spots.

In January 2018, Qingdao West Coast ecological tourism park became the national AAAA scenic spot, becoming the eighth AAAA scenic spot in Qingdao West Coast new area.

Through sustainable comprehensive tourism development and multi Industry joint operation, in the next few years, Xifa group will combine the surrounding Donghua mountain, Xihua mountain, Jiangjiayao reservoir and other mountain and water resources to build the West Coast eco-tourism park into the leading ecological leisure center in China: Qingdao Lingshan Bay scenic area, and the Oriental movie capital project to form the double engine of Qingdao tourism and become the city of the West Coast new area Green lung, health center.
