Nanchi Park

Jining Nanchi park is a comprehensive waterscape Park in Jining City. It is located on the west side of wangmuge road and the south side of Longxing road in Jining City, Shandong Province, with a total planning area of 34.3 hectares. It is a park rebuilt and expanded by Nanchi wangmuge of Tang Dynasty. The water surface is 11.9 hectares and the water depth is not more than 6 meters. Its scale is two or three times larger than the existing people's Park and Baihua Park in the urban area.

Construction process

Around 2000, the Municipal People's government decided to rebuild and expand wangmuge park.

Park Master Plan

Nanchi Park, with a total investment of 250 million yuan, was designed and completed by Hong Kong bell Collins Hangzhou branch. The whole water system planning of Jining Nanchi park will retain the current water shape according to the current position of the water revetment line of Nanchi, and make appropriate water surface changes according to the needs of landscaping. The total water surface area is about 11.2 hectares (168 mu). The water surface is divided into different sizes and shapes through the main island in the north area, the island in the middle of the lake in the south area and the island at the intersection of the three bridges in the north. The north side is connected with Yuehe River by Shuiyuan, the east side is connected with Rencheng River by wangmuge road by concealed culvert, and the west side is opposite to the waterscape axis of the planning residential area in the form of Jiulong water spray, completing the connection of Nanchi water body with urban water system in the East, North and West.

There are four islands in the pool, namely wangmuge Island, Beitan Island, Nantan island and Chixin island. There are queen's pavilion, Jade Emperor's temple, Zhuoying Pavilion, Junzi Pavilion, Guanhe Pavilion, Guanlan Pavilion, etc. Poets and celebrities of the past dynasties often wrote poems and poems here.
