Shizilou tourist area

Shizilou tourism area is the key area of Shuihu tourism line in Shandong Province, and also an important part of Yanggu "Millennium ancient city". The tourist area includes Lion House and Lion House tourist city. Shizilou was first built in the third year of Jingyou in the Northern Song Dynasty (1036 AD). It is famous for the fighting of Wusong, a hero of the water margin, to kill XiMenqing for the people. Shizilou is a double eaves Xieshan style building with two floors, five bays and three entrances. The building is located in the center of the ancient city, facing east from the west, with blue bricks and grey tiles, cornices and brackets, carved beams and painted buildings. It is a typical representative of architecture in the Song Dynasty and is called "one of the few restaurants in the world" by UNESCO.

The shizilou tourist area is organically connected with the 800 meter song style commercial pedestrian street - Zishi street and the Millennium ancient literature temple, forming the "Millennium ancient city" pattern of Yanggu. It has become an ancient city of the Song Dynasty that embodies the classic story scenes of Water Margin and reproduces the legend of the millennium.

Traffic information: take bus No.2 or No.6 in the county to shizilou tourist city. Drive from the exit of Ji Liao highway to Liaocheng highway, go southward along Liaoyang highway, turn right and go straight for 2km at the road sign intersection 5km away from Yanggu, turn left along shizilou Road, walk southward along shizilou road for 3km, shizilou tourist area. It's about an hour's drive from the freeway.
