Guanyin Temple in tujiqinbo
Located in Guanyin Town, Jinchuan, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, tujiqinbo Guanyin Temple (tujiqinbo refers to the four armed Guanyin Bodhisattva) is known as "Lhasa second" and one of the most famous religious holy places in Tibet. Built in the 7th century, it has a history of more than 1200 years. It has a unique Tibetan architectural style, majestic momentum, large scale, after hundreds of years of ups and downs, the maintenance and construction of Zaba and believers, up to now the building area of 1822 square meters.
The holy land of Buddhism
There are more than 100 statues of Guanyin Bodhisattva, master lianhuasheng, Manjusri Bodhisattva, etc. in the temple, there are various valuable gold and silver pagodas and a large number of scriptures. The walls of the temple are full of Tangka with exquisite style, and the inside and outside walls are colorful murals with rich Buddhist culture style. On the 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar, monks put on masks to jump to the gods, which is called "tiaobuza". It vividly interprets the retribution in the world and calls people to turn evil into good.
Architectural features
Persistent and devout religious believers make this holy land maintain the most ancient concept of gods and the most primitive ethnic customs. Pilgrimage to Guanyin temple is a custom with a history of 700 to 800 years. From October of each year to march of the next year, local believers from Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu and Sichuan all choose to make pilgrimage to Guanyin Temple in their spare time. April to June is the peak period for tourists.
