Wulongshan scenic spot is located in dingjiafang Town, 30km west of Faku City, 70km away from Shenyang. It covers an area of 1548 hectares. It is a ring mountain composed of five veins, including Wulongshan, Chaoyang Dongshan and longhuaishan. It is one of the famous mountains in Shenyang. It was designated as Shenyang Nature Reserve in 2000 and national AA scenic spot in 2002, In 2005, it was named the national agricultural tourism demonstration site by the National Tourism Administration.

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who are struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, Wulongshan scenic spot is free of charge for medical workers from the opening date to December 31, 2020.

Development history

"China Bodhi Holy Land" is the reputation of Wulong mountain. Wulong mountain is the highest latitude and the largest number of small leaf bodhi trees in China. The bodhi tree is regarded as a Buddhist tree, which is often accompanied by temples. At the top of Wulong mountain is the Guanyin Temple of Liao Dynasty, and at the foot of it is the Guanghui Temple of Ming Dynasty. The chairman of Liaoning Buddhist Association, shangzhao Xiayuan, identified Wulong mountain as "the holy land of Chinese Bodhi.". There are also natural wonders and cultural landscapes on the mountain, such as the shelter for the mystery of Chinese nature, the geological wonder Tiangu mountain, the three-story Hall of the Taoist temple of the Yuan Dynasty, and the monument granted by Emperor Kangxi. Wulong mountain has gradually become a tourist attraction in Liaoning Province and a famous Buddhist mountain in Northeast China.
