Yumeng Shengjing

Known as "yumengshengjing", yumengchong (also known as Mengchong) is five kilometers east of the county. Yumengchong is a canyon among the mountains. Qingxi, which is confluenced by Hulu River and trigeminal River, meanders for more than ten kilometers along the winding mountain. It flows out of the valley from the deep of Chong River and enters Chong river. The cliff in the gorge is dripping with green water and beautiful scenery. What's more, the various kinds of strange stones constitute a long corridor full of poetic and picturesque.

Not far from yukou, there is a raised rock, like a mother monkey holding her son, with a vivid look. Further on, on the cliff there is a stack of "Jiubu Tianshu stone" that looks like a book. It is said that a woodcutter from Taibai Jinxing, who had been crossing ancient Mongolia, became an immortal and gave him the Tianshu, but the woodcutter was not moved by the fairyland and did not read the Tianshu. After a long time, the Tianshu turned into a rock. Next to the book of heaven, there is a red ancient man who looks like a toad. He seems to be concentrating on reading the book of heaven, so this scene is called "toad reading the book of heaven". From here to Yumeng Qingtan, there are several horseshoe marks on the huge stone protruding from the cliff. It is said that it is the immortal's "big horse chasing small horse, chasing down the Qingtan". After passing the Qingtan, it goes straight into the deep of chongnei. There are boulders like Hongzhong, goat and ant, and a group of peaks similar to boy Guanyin. It is said that Qingtan is an immortal pool where seven fairies often come to take a bath. The profound natural scenery of Yumeng is amazing.
