Huquan

Huquan is one of the 72 new springs in Jinan. It is 1km away from Hongfanchi in the north, in Hushan depression to the south of Shuyuan village. It is named after the ancient Hucheng ruins in the north.

Introduction to Huquan

Hushan depression is in the shade of yuncui mountain, with steep cliffs. At the bottom of the west wall of the depression, the natural karst cave is deep and unpredictable, from which Huquan gushes. Usually, the water flows slowly. In case of heavy rain, the spring gushes from the bottom to the top of the cave. The spray is like a column, and the waves roll. After the small stone pool, fell into the valley, forming a waterfall, touch the rock to the stone, sound spread several miles. There are ancient cypresses hanging on the rock wall, and green strips are extruded from the stone gap. The scenery here was called "huquanyongbi" by the ancients, and it is one of the eight ancient scenes in East Asia. Now, on the cliff of the south wall, there are still four big red characters "huquanyongbi" written by Meng Yimai, the governor of the Ming Dynasty. Now it has been repaired to be more beautiful and spectacular.

Yongbi is the spring scenery in the south, and spray snow is the scenery in the north. But Huquan brings the beautiful scenery of the two places together.

Huquan is located 2 kilometers south of Hongfanchi, in the depression at the north foot of yuncui mountain. Because the north of the spring is the former site of ancient Huguo City, it is named Huquan. Huquan is originated from a natural cave at the lower end of the steep cliff. The diameter of the cave is about one meter, and the cave is deep and unpredictable.

Hu spring flows out of the cave. During the period of high water, the spring water passes through the stone pool and falls down into the valley to form a waterfall. It touches the rock and reaches the stone, and the sound travels for several miles. There are ancient cypresses hanging on the cliff, and the stone cracks extrude the green flow. The ancients called the scenery here "huquanyongbi". On the cliff in the south of the spring, engraved with the Ming Dynasty Jinshi Meng Yimai book "huquanyongbi" four characters.

"Hukou spray snow" is a big landscape of Huquan. In the past, there was a huge rock at the entrance of Huquan cave. The torrent in the cave was blocked. The spring water gushed from the bottom to the top of the cave. It touched the rock and hit the rock. The waves rolled and the beads splashed. It looked like flying snow and was magnificent. The spring water overflows over the rocks and falls down like a waterfall, like a flying rainbow overhead, falling into the valley, which is a spectacular sight. Predecessors wrote the poem "Feiquan spray snow" praise: "Chongya out of a Feiquan, pour down the struggle like a waterfall hanging. (2) Jinan long distance bus terminal takes the Jinan Pingyin long distance bus (about 40 minutes, 22 yuan). It's about three hours by car. Transfer Pingyin coach to Hongfan town coach (about one hour, about one hour; ticket price is 7 yuan) and get off at the gate of Hongfan town government. Go south for 500 meters and turn right to Dahong fanchi park. There is a private taxi (about 20 yuan) at the gate of Hongfanchi to send Huquan.
