In summer, the water vapor carried by the westerly airflow enhances the precipitation in the mountain area, making the north slope of the peak area full of flowers and plants; the south slope is lush with forest and beautiful grassland, which is obviously in contrast with the arid scene of Gobi and desert at the foot of the mountain, becoming a wet green island. During glaciation, the annual precipitation can reach about 600 mm. In the peak area, the annual average 0 ℃ isotherm fluctuates around 3000 meters, and the lower limit of summer solid precipitation is about 2900 meters. Marshes and lakes are also widely distributed in the south slope. There are abundant snow and ice resources in the peak area.
