Development history
Yitong Manchu Autonomous museum was founded in June 1986, which was called Yitong Manchu Autonomous County folk museum. Taking temporary use of the conference room (150 square meters) on the fourth floor of the County Federation of trade unions as the museum building, 320 kinds of Manchu cultural relics and 1834 pieces were displayed. It was opened to the public on June 25th, 1987, and received strong support from the cadres and the masses.
In 1988, the county government decided to rearrange the exhibition. It rented the office building of the County Association for science and Technology (200 square meters) as the exhibition hall, invested 100000 yuan to decorate the exhibition room, made display cabinets, exhibition tables, screens and other cultural relics display facilities, and deployed and trained three commentators.
In September 1990, in order to meet the needs of social development, the county Party committee decided to build a new exhibition hall. The investment is 1.05 million yuan, covering an area of 300 square meters and a construction area of 1350 square meters. It was completed on August 24, 1992. The design of the exhibition hall is novel, with six towers, five floors of main building, three floors of auxiliary building, antique building, carved beams and painted buildings, yellow glazed tiles, elegant and unique, with strong national architectural style. Mr. Pu Jie, vice chairman of the National Committee of the National People's Congress, and Mr. Qi Gong, Professor of Beijing Normal University and chairman of the Chinese Calligrapher's Association, wrote the title of the museum. More than 200000 yuan was invested to decorate the exhibition hall and make exhibition equipment. Art forms such as cultural relics, pictures, charts, models and sand tables are used for the exhibition. The museum is divided into six exhibition halls of Manchu origin, production, life, etiquette, culture and subsidiary parts, displaying 410 kinds of cultural relics. More than 2010. Six trainers were selected and assigned, dressed in cheongsam, to explain the whole process formally.
At the beginning of 2001, the county Party committee and the county government decided to move the site to expand the Manchu Museum, mainly considering that the scale of the Manchu museum is too small and the level is low, and some cultural relics can not be displayed. With the establishment of the Autonomous County, the general public's Manchu consciousness has been growing, and the call for expanding the exhibition hall has continued. They have raised 5 million yuan, covering an area of 10000 square meters, with a construction area of 3500 square meters, five floors of the main building and a supporting building The building has 2 floors, concrete frame structure, antique building, grand momentum, elegant and generous, with strong northern ethnic architectural style, and was completed at the end of June 2002. After the county Manchu Folk Museum moved to the new museum, it was renamed Yitong Manchu Museum. The county Party committee required that the new museum should become a comprehensive county-level museum with a high level to display Manchu history and folk culture. The exhibition was completed on August 30, 2003.
Since 2008, the county Party committee and the county government have decided to invest in the reconstruction of the museum, with 3 million yuan allocated by the provincial government and 3 million yuan raised by the county itself to expand 2200 square meters. The civil works were completed at the end of October 2014. It is mainly used to expand Shaman culture, national economy (the great changes in Yitong from 1949 to 2009), add folk demonstration, academic reports, tourist service center and temporary exhibition hall, etc., and correct the design defects of the original museum. The two sides of the main building are extended and the auxiliary building is expanded. The main building is connected with the hall, the windows are blocked, the grey fire board wall is hung, and the south wall is decorated with historical relief (glass fiber reinforced plastic) of Manchu cultural symbols such as Panlong, legend of three Fairies and sky war. After reconstruction and expansion, the new building looks like an eagle spreading its wings. It is magnificent, elegant and unique in style. It has strong national characteristics and has become a major landscape of the county.
At the beginning of 2012, the county Party committee and the county government decided to invest another 12 million pairs of new pavilions to set up exhibitions again. Shenyang Aidi Art Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid and undertook all the work. After two years of discussion, research, adjustment and revision, the exhibition plan of the new museum has widely solicited the opinions of relevant experts, scholars and relevant departments. The county Party committee and the county government require the new museum to adhere to high standards and strive for first-class attitude in exhibition arrangement, make full use of a variety of art forms, widely apply modern technology and reflect the characteristics of the times.
