Demu Temple
Lulang is an important cultural symbol in Tibetan history, and the name Lulang is closely related to it. In the 13th century A.D., the great living Buddha of Changdu, i.e. prabalad chindoji, built the "lakaloserin" temple in demula mountain pass, which was handed over to his mother and uncle and formed the reincarnation system of living Buddha. This is the source of demula temple.

Later, after Ren Demu's hard work, Demu Temple gradually became an influential temple in the area of Gongbu and Bomi. When the fifth Dalai Lama came to Beijing through Gongbu area and was canonized by the Qing Royal family, the fourth Demu was an important entourage. According to legend, wushida praised the beautiful landscape and countryside in this area as "the place where immortals live", so it was named "Longwang Valley", which is the origin of the name "Lulang". After the fourth Demu living Buddha came to Beijing, he was valued by the Qing emperor and stayed in Beijing for a long time. During this period, Bomi people who had a bad relationship with Demu Temple took the opportunity to burn and plunder the temple. Later, the temple was forced to move south to Mirui, south of the pass. After moving to the south, Demu Temple continued to grow, and gradually extended its influence to the Wei Tibet area. In history, the sixth, seventh and ninth generations of Demu Temple successively served as the Regent of gaxia local government in Tibet, responsible for the political and religious affairs in Tibet between the young Dalai Lama and the young Dalai Lama. Today, although Demu temple is no longer glorious, both the new temple and the ruins of the old temple are still standing as before. The most important thing is that in the process of 600 years of education, the folk customs and other traditional cultures in the South and North Ditch of Demu, Lulang and Mirui have been deeply rooted.
Ancient Caravan Road
From the ruins of Demusi in Lulang to Demusi in Mirui Township, an ancient tea horse road through history is hidden in the forest.
This is an ancient Caravan Road, which is about 25 kilometers long. The rugged mountain road passes through the vast forest and sea, and the faint bell of the caravan rings for hundreds of years in the wind. No matter how beautiful the scenery on both sides is, just riding on horseback to feel the turbulence of the years is enough to make people forget their worries and travel in the sky.
The Damu temple in Mirui township was rebuilt after the original Lulang Damu temple was burned. The rebuilt Damu temple was completely destroyed in the 1950 earthquake in Linzhi Area. It was not until 1952 that the gaxia government finally agreed to the tenth living Buddha of Damu to repair the Damu temple. The restoration work has been passed from father to son. In the 1990s, Demu wangjiuduoji, the son of tenzingyatso, the tenth living Buddha of Demu, started the construction again, and finally repaired the main hall in 1994.
From the first generation to the tenth generation, from father generation to son generation, from 1374 to 2009, from Lulang to Mirui, the two Demu temples are separated by this hundred year old road, watching each other and experiencing vicissitudes.
