geographical environment
Location context
Sinan siyetun Provincial Nature Reserve is located in the north by west of Sinan County, Tongren City. It is adjacent to Dejiang County in the north, Fenggang county in the west, Wujiang River in the South and East. It is located in the northwest extension of Fanjing Mountain in Wuling mountains and is an important ecological barrier of Wujiang river. The geographical coordinates are 107 ° 55 ′ 11 "e-108 ° 8 ′ 6" and 27 ° 50 ′ 39 "n-28 ° 3 ′ 7". The total area is 17400 hectares.
climatic conditions
Most of the protected areas belong to the north subtropical humid monsoon climate area, and the low altitude valley areas below 500m above sea level belong to the middle subtropical humid monsoon climate area. The annual sunshine hours of the reserve are 1070.2-1218.9h, the annual sunshine percentage is 24% - 28%, and the annual total solar radiation is 3444.2-3668.5mj/m2. The light energy resources are lower than that of the central part of the province, and significantly lower than that of the western part of the province. It is one of the low value areas in China, with the distribution law of the most in summer, the least in winter, and slightly more in spring than autumn. 75% of the total solar radiation is concentrated in the growth and development of animals and plants From April to October. The annual average temperature is 14.9-17.4 ℃, cold in winter and hot in summer, and the temperature in autumn is slightly higher than that in spring, The annual maximum temperature is between 36.8-41.1 ℃, summer is hot and summer is drought, the annual minimum temperature is between - 5.2-7.8 ℃, and winter is freezing with rain and snow. The daily average temperature ≥ 10 ℃ lasts for 230.1-255d, the active accumulated temperature above 10 ℃ is between 4590.7-5479.9 ℃. D, the annual absolute humidity is between 15.1-17.1hpa, the annual evaporation is 999.3-1331.4mm, and the annual precipitation is 1134.4-1269.9mm But the annual precipitation is still the most in summer, the least in winter, and slightly more in autumn than in spring. The precipitation from April to October accounts for about 85% of the annual rainfall, which is a favorable climatic condition for the growth and development of animals and plants in this area.
Geology and geomorphology
The reserve is mainly affected by the ascending and descending movement of the Paleozoic Yangtze ancient land in northern Guizhou, the Cenozoic Yanshanian movement and the modern Himalayan movement, forming a geomorphic framework with narrow anticlines and open synclines. The geological structure belongs to the Bamianshan fold belt and wulingao fold belt of the Yangtze paraplatform, and is located in the northern margin of north-east and north-east of Sichuan and Guizhou. Some of them are controlled by liangtianba anticline and Xujiaba syncline. There are 4 large-scale tensile faults, 5 small-scale faults and 1 NW-SE shear fault in the area. Affected by folds and faults, the core strata are gentle and the wing strata are slightly steep. The vertical and horizontal interweaving of fault lines and the uplift of fault depression have laid the necessary geological conditions for the formation of typical eroded Valley landform in the area.
The rock types in the reserve are sedimentary rocks, and the main rock formations are sand shale formation and carbonate formation. The sand shale formation controls the basic contour of the whole reserve, while the carbonate formation is mainly distributed in the north and Southeast. The area of sand shale formation is 12006hm2, accounting for 69% of the total area of the reserve, while the area of carbonate formation is 5394hm2, accounting for 31% of the total area of the reserve.
Under the action of the stress in the direction of southeast northwest, the sientun Nature Reserve in Sinan has formed the intense folds in the direction of northeast to northeast, resulting in the basic geomorphic framework of wide syncline (Xujiaba syncline), narrow anticline (liangtianba anticline), and the interaction of carbonate rock and sand shale along the mountain range. At the same time, influenced by three large-scale intermittent uplifting in daluoshan, shanpan and Wujiang gorge periods, the reserve was further cut, forming a geomorphic landscape with incomplete structure, strong cutting, broken terrain and complex terrain combination, and forming a typical karst peak cluster depression landform in carbonate rock area. The strike of the main mountains and rivers in the reserve is basically consistent with that of the fold fault zone, forming an extension from NE to W.
The highest peak of the reserve is located at babaoguan in the southwest of zhangjiazhai, with an altitude of 1250m. The lowest point is located in the valley between lanerba and Manaoke, with an altitude of 390m, which is higher in the north and lower in the south. The whole Nature Reserve belongs to low, middle and low mountain landforms.
Regional scope
The core area, buffer area and experimental area are set up in the reserve. The total area of the reserve is 17400hm2, involving 4 towns of qinggangpo, Xujiaba, zhangjiazhai and yingwuxi, 3 ethnic townships of Hujiawan, KUANPING and yangjiaao, 37 administrative villages, 148 villager groups and 165 natural villages, with a total of 2883 households and 12475 people. Among them, the core area is 5310hm2, accounting for 30.52% of the total area of the reserve; the buffer area is 4160hm2, accounting for 23.90% of the total area of the reserve; the experimental area (including tourism community) is 7930hm2, accounting for 45.58% of the total area of the reserve.

Vegetation and wild plants
There are abundant forest vegetation types in the reserve, mainly deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest. There are seven main forest vegetation types, namely evergreen broad-leaved forest, evergreen deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest, deciduous broad-leaved forest, coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest, coniferous forest, shrubbery and shrub and grass vegetation. There are abundant forest community types, with 13 species according to the preliminary scientific research results, and the species richness of arbor in the community is better, with a height of 600m The average number of species in the two plots is 20, and the highest number is 28. Therefore, the reserve has a strong representation of forest ecosystem with evergreen broad-leaved forest as the main zonal vegetation. Meanwhile, the reserve has superior geological, climatic and land resource conditions, with high vegetation restoration potential.
wild animal
The nature reserve is rich in animal resources. According to the results of scientific investigation, there are 653 species of animals belonging to 530 genera and 209 families, including 336 species of insects belonging to 274 genera and 87 families, 63 species of Araneae belonging to 50 genera and 16 families, 18 species of mollusks belonging to 12 genera and 7 families, 11 species of crustaceans belonging to 9 genera, 5 species of annelids belonging to 5 genera and 5 families, 7 species of diploids belonging to 6 genera and 4 families, 47 species of fish belonging to 6 genera and 4 families, They belong to 40 genera, 12 families, 4 orders; 15 species of reptiles, 14 genera, 6 families, 3 orders; 15 species of amphibians, 11 genera, 7 families, 2 orders; 103 species of birds, 40 families, 11 orders; 33 species of mammals, 19 families, 8 orders. There are 1 class I protected animal and 13 class II protected animals.
