Yuanheguan
Yuanheguan, located between Yuzhen palace and Laoying Town, was built in Yuan Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the 11th year of Yongle (1413 A.D.) to the 17th year of the Ming Dynasty. After Jiajing, it was rebuilt and rebuilt. The main layout of the temple is square and orderly, the partition is appropriate, the courtyard is deep, and the rules are strict; the stone steps are zigzag; the hall is balanced in size, and the main building is on the high platform. Most of the existing statues and sacrificial vessels in the hall are made of copper and gilded with exquisite casting technology. On the top of the throne is a statue of Zhenwu God decorated with gold and wood carvings. The costumes are full of Song Dynasty style. It is the best extant masterpiece of wood carvings in Wudang Mountain. The statues of Liuding, Yuhuang and other gods, with different shapes and vivid shapes, are rare and precious cultural relics in China, which can be studied and appreciated. Yuanheguan was originally a holy place for Taoists in Wudang Mountain to repent and punish Taoists who violate the rules and regulations.
The architectural layout of yuanheguan is compact, with deep courtyard, high windows and thick walls, reflecting the majesty of theocracy and the seclusion of prison. The main hall of yuanheguan is built on a high platform, which is solemn and solemn. Inside the hall, there are statues of Liujia on both sides. They are all Dharma protectors of Xuantian God. On the front is Wang Lingguan wearing armor and holding a gold whip. Wang Lingguan has a red face and three eyes. He has a grim face. He has the courage to do evil against the will of heaven. He has the tendency to do justice immediately. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, he has been regarded as the God of observation in heaven and earth.
There are thousands of Taoist commandments, and the punishment for violators is also measured according to the rules. The light ones are kneeling incense and stick leather, and the heavy ones are brow burning and burning. "The rules and regulations are the criterion of immortality. The gods can't be replaced. How dare people break the rules...".
Yuan heguan, as the law enforcement agency of Wudang cult, has a unique significance in the history of Wudang Taoism.
