Relevant background
Li Wan was born in the Tang Dynasty on April 18 of the lunar calendar in 601. Inspired by his forefathers' "burning bamboo to drive away worship", Li Wan paid homage to Sun Simiao, the king of medicine, who lived in seclusion in the east of Liuyang City at that time to develop gunpowder. He filled the gunpowder into the bamboo tube and changed "burning bamboo" to "firecracker". Later, he learned papermaking technology and replaced bamboo tube with paper tube, changing "bamboo explosion" to "paper explosion". From then on, "roll it with paper and explode it with medicine." Firecrackers (also known as firecrackers, firecrackers) came out.
Later, his descendants invented fireworks. Fireworks and firecrackers are called "fireworks". According to China Industrial records, "the manufacture of Chinese fireworks began in Tang Dynasty, flourished in Song Dynasty, and originated in Liuyang." To commemorate Li Wan, a great inventor, people from Ludong Village (formerly known as Taihe Village) of Dayao town built Li Wan Park in his cemetery in 2001, and built fireworks Museum in Li Wan Pavilion (the place where ancestors were worshipped in the old time). The museum is a Tang style building with blue bricks and green tiles, flowing eaves, flying pavilions, carved beams and painted columns. The front door of the original Pavilion is still in existence, and the ancient style is still the same. In the main hall, there are two statues of the ancestor, two drums and two pieces of gold. The workers beat drums and gongs to sacrifice their ancestors.
