Chixi Wudong Bridge
Chixi Wudong bridge is located in Guoxi village, Chixi Town, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was rebuilt in 1267, the third year of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a five hole beam stone bridge with a north-south trend. Now the river channel has been silted up. It is 24.6 meters long and 1.7 meters wide.
Chixi Wudong bridge (national key cultural relics protection unit)
The left and right piers of the middle hole are built with stone, and the upstream and downstream are built with water diversion points. Each joint of the north and South First piers is paralleled by three square columns, and the upper horizontal cap beam stone. On one side of the middle hole stone beam is inscribed with the inscription "reconstruction of Dingmao liangyue in the third year of Xianchun of Song Dynasty". The bridge is well preserved, simple in shape and has a definite chronology. It is an important material for the study of ancient bridges.
