brief introduction
Laiyang has a long history of outstanding people. As early as the Western Zhou Dynasty, it had a culture synchronized with the Central Plains. At the same time, in the thousands of years of development history, Laiyang has a good patriotic tradition, and a large number of heroes have emerged, such as Zuo maodi, the famous national hero, Song Wan, the honest official of the first generation of Shizong, song Jicheng, the leader of shanzuo society, and Qu Shiwen, the leader of the uprising.
Laiyang City Museum is mainly composed of three parts: Song Wan memorial hall, revolutionary historical relics exhibition room and celebrities exhibition room, of which Song Wan memorial hall is the main body. Song Wan memorial hall is a quadrangle with two entrances and a single-layer frame structure of hard mountain brick and wood. Song Wan, named Yushu and Lichang, was the most influential poet in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. All his life, he was incorruptible and concerned about the sufferings of the people. He once wrote 16 volumes of anyatang collection and handed it down to later generations. Its former residence is the site of Laiyang Museum. In addition to the statues, portraits, biographical materials, works and anthologies of Song Wan, there are also hundreds of calligraphy and paintings inscribed and donated works by all walks of life. Song yingheng, the father of Song Wan, was a Jinshi in the late Ming Dynasty. After the Qing Dynasty entered the pass, they attacked Laiyang. Song yingheng scattered all his wealth and organized the defense of the city. Song Wan, as the son of song yingheng, had a high talent feeling in his early years. He once formed shanzuo society with historical celebrities song Jicheng and song Mei in Laiyang. He wrote poems and chanted his ambition. As Song Wan's "Shizong", Song Wan connected two generations who were active in politics and literature in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. The exhibition room of historical celebrities in the museum displays the deeds of 16 historical figures in Laiyang, including Zuo maodi, Cui Zizhong, Zhang Ruizheng, Chu Pengling, Qu Shiwen and sun Mofu. There is a touching story behind a character, and each story reflects an immortal history.
The exhibition room of revolutionary historical relics displays historical relics from the Neolithic Age to the war of liberation. Among them, Tang he'en's Zhiqian bamboo pole (the original is now stored in the Chinese Military Museum), the "Zhiqian meritorious" Brocade banner awarded by the sixth column of the East China Field Army to the small motorcade of Laiyang, and the chishanying brocade banner of Laiyang enjoy high reputation throughout the country and are national precious cultural relics.
