Fengcheng Museum, founded in 1984, is located in Fengshui Lake Cultural Park in Fengcheng City, Yichun city.
Development history
In October 2013, he moved to Xinguang Hall of Fengshui Lake Cultural Park and worked with hongzhouyao Museum and Fengcheng Cultural Relics Bureau.
Collection
There are more than 3900 collections and more than 10000 specimens of cultural relics, including 718 grade I, II and III treasures, forming two major advantages and characteristics of Ming and Qing Dynasty colored porcelain and Hongzhou celadon. Its top-quality products are yuan Yingqing drama porcelain pillow, Hongzhou celadon Boshan stove of Eastern Jin Dynasty and celadon double bowl beast foot Tang inkstone, etc., which are exhibited in Beijing, Japan and Canada.
Achievement display
The museum insists on making use of historical relics to publicize and educate people. It has held a variety of exhibition activities such as "basic exhibition of Fengcheng historical relics" and "exhibition of Hongzhou Kiln Ceramics", and timely introduced 53 temporary exhibitions. It has received more than 1.4 million visitors from home and abroad. The professionals of the museum insist on integrating theory with practice, combined with archaeological investigation, excavation and collection management, and actively write more than 100 academic papers and professional articles, which have been published in national, provincial, local and municipal newspapers and periodicals, and have won provincial, local and Municipal Excellent Paper Awards for many times. The museum adheres to the spirit of the documents of the State Council on the protection of cultural relics, and works hard to cooperate with the industrial and commercial departments and the public security departments to crack down on the smuggling of cultural relics and the criminal activities of illegally digging ancient tombs, and has achieved remarkable results. In 1987, it was awarded by the provincial government and the State Administration of cultural relics.
