Inner Mongolia national liberation Memorial Hall
Located in Ulanhot, the birthplace of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia national liberation memorial hall is built to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the first commemorative exhibition hall built in ethnic minority areas after the founding of new China, which fully reflects the regional autonomy of ethnic minorities. It is also the first national liberation Memorial Hall in Inner Mongolia. Since the founding of new China, it is the first Memorial Exhibition Hall to reflect the whole process of national liberation in ethnic areas.
The Inner Mongolia national liberation memorial hall is located in the north of the east end road of mineral spring street, Ulanhot City, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
In order to reflect and reappear the historical process of Inner Mongolia national liberation and regional autonomy, and show the development achievements of the old revolutionary base areas, with the approval of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government, the construction of Inner Mongolia national liberation memorial hall was started in June 2006 in Ulanhot City, and officially opened in July 2007 on the occasion of celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The building structure of the memorial hall is a four storey (three floors above the ground and one floor underground) flat top building, covering an area of 30000 square meters and a building area of 23000 square meters.

With a total investment of 96 million yuan, the memorial covers an area of about 30000 square meters and an exhibition area of 3500 square meters. It is composed of three parts: the preface hall, the main exhibition hall and the hall of heroes. At the same time, there is a square in front of the memorial, which displays two cannons. The main exhibition hall has four units: shocking spring thunder, anti Japanese beacon fire, dawn of victory and eternal monument; the heroic hall has four units: revolutionary pioneer, return to our country, for the sake of new China and brave iron cavalry.
Centering on the 60 years of Inner Mongolia's national liberation and regional autonomy, the theme of the exhibition is: without the leadership of the Communist Party of China, there will be no Inner Mongolia's national liberation; without Inner Mongolia's national liberation, there will be no Inner Mongolia's 60 years of regional autonomy. Through pictures, cultural relics, scene modeling, sound, light, electricity and other means of artistic and technical expression, it fully shows the national characteristics, cultural characteristics and regional characteristics.

The museum has a collection of 2123 cultural relics and documents, including 340 treasures, 34 weapons and more than 15000 historical books. The exhibits include two airplanes, one tank, four guns, one heavy machine gun and three light machine guns. There are 28 long and short guns, 780 precious pictures and 5480 cultural relics and documents. There are four large scenes, two group sculptures, two single sculptures and 58 works of art.

The exhibition of the memorial hall is mainly composed of three parts. The first part is the preface hall, which focuses on the theme sculpture "Tianjiang Qibing", which shows the spirit of Inner Mongolia national liberation. It briefly introduces the construction of Inner Mongolia national liberation memorial hall, the history of the Mongolian nation, the process of Inner Mongolia national liberation and regional autonomy, and the construction and development of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The second part of the main exhibition hall, with the national liberation and regional autonomy of Inner Mongolia as the main line, focuses on the early revolution of Inner Mongolia, the Anti Japanese struggle, the establishment of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Government and the formation and development of the unified autonomous region. The main exhibition hall is divided into four units: "shocking spring thunder", "Anti Japanese beacon", "dawn of victory" and "eternal monument". The third part of the heroic hall, with the magnificent voyage of the revolutionary movement in Inner Mongolia as the main line, focuses on the revolutionary spirit that the revolutionary martyrs in Inner Mongolia did not fear violence, blood and sacrifice for the sake of national liberation and the birth of new China during the 28 year period of the new democratic revolution, and specially set up a heroic monument wall. At the same time, the memorial also shows the revolutionary pioneers fighting in this land. There are 612 pictures, 472 cultural relics, 50 firearms, 53 paintings, 5 sculptures and 15 scenes in the exhibition area.
In May 2009, Inner Mongolia national liberation memorial hall was announced as the national patriotic education demonstration base by the Central Propaganda Department.
