China rose garden

China Yueji garden is a scenic spot located in Laizhou City.

"China rose garden" is located in the north foot of Yunfeng mountain in Laizhou City. There are more than 200000 roses of five categories and seven color systems planted in the garden. It is the largest ecological rose garden with the most varieties and scale in China.

The layout of Chinese rose garden is divided into "one axis, one ring and four areas". The first axis is composed of memorial archway, 24 solar terms landscape column and rose fairy; the first ring is a budding rose flower ring, which makes the whole park run through as a whole, and the street trees are mainly Acer truncatum with a height of 3 meters; the fourth area is the entrance landscape area, waterfront area, culture exhibition area and rose planting resource area. There are more than 200 kinds of green seedlings and more than 10000 plants planted in the park. There are five kinds of hybrid tea, Fenghua, liana, miniature and vines, seven color lines and more than 200000 rose plants planted in the park.

In addition, more than 1500 rose varieties have been collected from the rose planting resource bank established in the park. Among them, the ancient Chinese rose excavated and protected is the living fossil of rose and the ancestor of modern rose. There are few living roses in China, and more than 20 varieties have been collected in China rose garden. China rose garden has also realized the landscape effect of "three roses with flowers and four seasons with evergreen".
