Xibaipo Memorial
Xibaipo Memorial < I (Xibaipo Memorial) < / I, located in Xibaipo scenic area, Xibaipo village, Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is the seat of the Central Working Committee, the CPC Central Committee and the PLA headquarters during the war of liberation, and a national first-class Museum. It was opened to the outside world on May 26, 1978, covering an area of 13400 square meters and a construction area of 3344 square meters.
As of March 2014, Xibaipo memorial has more than 2000 pieces of revolutionary cultural relics, including 15 pieces in 8 categories. The auxiliary display of the memorial systematically reflects the revolutionary practice of the CPC Central Committee and leaders in Xibaipo through cultural relics, documents, pictures and materials.
Xibaipo memorial hall was named "national excellent social education base" in 1995
In 1996, it was rated as "one hundred national patriotic education bases for primary and secondary schools"
In 1997, it was rated as "one hundred national patriotic education demonstration bases"
In May 2008, it was named "national first-class Museum" by the State Administration of cultural relics“
In December 2009, it was awarded the first batch of "national defense education demonstration base"
In May 2010, it was awarded the first batch of "national anti-corruption education bases"

Historical evolution
In 1955, Hebei Provincial Museum and Pingshan County Government established Xibaipo Memorial preparatory office.
In 1958, the former site of the CPC Central Committee in Xibaipo was flooded because of the construction of Gangnan Reservoir.
Since December 1970, Xibaipo site has been relocated to the North 500 meters away from the original site, and the elevation has increased by 57 meters.
In 1971, Pingshan County government built a new Xibaipo village on the same mountain not far from the reservoir.
In 1977, Pingshan County government built a new Xibaipo Memorial Hall in the southwest of the former site.
On March 11, 1982, the State Council announced the former site of the CPC Central Committee in Xibaipo as the second batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
In October 1976, Xibaipo exhibition hall was opened.
In 1977, Xibaipo memorial hall was built.
On May 26, 1978, in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the relocation of the CPC Central Committee and PLA headquarters to Xibaipo, it was opened to the public at the same time as the former site of the CPC Central Committee.
On August 31, 1984, Deng Xiaoping wrote the name of the memorial hall.

Xibaipo memorial hall has basic display:
Xibaipo, the former site of the CPC Central Committee, has well preserved the former residence of Mao Zedong, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai, Ren Bishi and other five secretaries, 13 former sites of the second plenary session of the Seventh Central Committee and the September meeting, as well as the war room of the military Commission. It is equipped with a large number of cultural relics, documents, pictures, materials and other exhibits, which reproduces the style of the last rural command post of the CPC Central Committee and bears the image of Mao Zedong As the representative of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries in Xibaipo, the rich historical memory of their fight and life has transmitted important historical information and educational significance.
Xibaipo exhibition hall, with the theme of "new China coming from here", has set up 12 exhibition rooms around the exhibition theme, focusing on time and highlighting major events. Each room displays a large number of exhibits, which systematically reflects the revolutionary practice activities of the CPC Central Committee and leaders during their stay in Xibaipo. From Xibaipo, a small mountain village, the Party Central Committee embarked on the journey of "going to Beijing for the examination".
The theme of the exhibition is "remember the two necessity and keep the advanced nature of the party." The whole exhibition is divided into three parts. By combining architecture with exhibits, it comprehensively shows the anti-corruption history since the founding of the Communist Party of China, as well as the style stories of the old generation of proletarian revolutionaries represented by Mao Zedong. It is an important place for Party members, cadres and the masses throughout the country to carry out traditional education.
Xibaipo national security education Museum, the theme of the exhibition is "anonymous monument". The exhibition is divided into upper, middle and lower levels, displaying a large number of objects and documents, etc., showing the outstanding contributions made by the hidden front of the Communist Party of China to the Communist Party of China's seizing power and defending the people's power, including 38 outstanding intelligence personnel.
There are more than 600 inscriptions of Party and state leaders, generals and calligraphers in the monument forest of Xibaipo.

On March 4, 2009, Che Jun, then deputy secretary of Hebei provincial Party committee and Secretary of Shijiazhuang municipal Party committee, and AI Wenli, then deputy secretary of Shijiazhuang municipal Party committee and mayor, led more than 60 people from four leading groups of Shijiazhuang City, President of Shijiazhuang intermediate people's court, and Procurator General of Shijiazhuang Municipal People's Procuratorate to visit the museum.
On May 1, 2009, He Guanghui, then member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and former director of the National Tourism Administration, and a delegation of 28 people came to visit.
On June 3, 2009, Zhang yijiong, then deputy secretary of the Tibet Autonomous Region Party committee, visited the museum.
On July 2, 2009, Wang Yinxiang, then Secretary of the Party group of China Aviation Group, and a group of 12 people came to visit.
