Mother in law and daughter-in-law rock - love between mother in law and daughter-in-law in need. In a village on the seashore of Haitan Island, there is a rock on the mountain that really looks like a daughter-in-law carrying her mother-in-law, which is called "mother in law and daughter-in-law rock".

Four kilometers east of Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province, there are two huge rocks on the back mountain of Zhoucun. One looks like an old woman over the age of Huajia. She wears a hairpin and looks down to meditate. The other is like a young woman, standing high on the top of the mountain, commonly known as the mother-in-law rock.

Story one

There is a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law rock on the back mountain of Zhoucun village, Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province. On the leopard lion mountain across the stream, there are two huge stones. One is like a sedan chair, and the other is like a young man walking with a burden on his back, commonly known as Uncle sedan chair rock. The two groups of rock statues are the first landscape of Xiandu scenic gate.

It is said that there lived a woman who lost her husband in Xiandu. She lived frugally, raised her only son, married her daughter-in-law, and lived a happy old age. Unfortunately, the son was forced to fight by the government. As soon as the son left, the daughter-in-law was very mean to her mother-in-law. She abused her mother-in-law all the time. Every day, she asked her mother-in-law to go up the mountain to cut firewood and cook. Her mother-in-law ate leftovers and starved. So every day I went to the mountain, looking forward to my son's return. My daughter-in-law blocked my mother-in-law's way in front of the mountain. My daughter-in-law was so rebellious that she angered God and ordered Lei Gong to punish her. One day, the rain was pouring, the thunder was shaking, and a dull thunder shot down the daughter-in-law's head in the pond at the foot of the mountain. This day, it happened that my uncle took my sister back to her mother's home in a sedan chair. Unexpectedly, the river rose and I couldn't cross the river. When I walked out of the sedan chair, I saw my sister was killed by thunder. My uncle was very sad and waited across the river. From then on, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, brother-in-law and sedan chair became stones. This story is widely spread in the local respect for the elderly education content.

It is said that in the Song Dynasty, a poor couple in the village fell ill one after another, leaving a little girl, pan Dongmei, under one year old, who was adopted by her aunt. Her cousin was as beautiful as flowers, and her cousin was smart and handsome. They wanted to get married. I didn't expect that the Yamen came to the village to force taxes. When he saw Dongmei, he was evil and wanted to marry her as his concubine. The next day, he sent the betrothal gifts to her door. Aunt repeatedly refused, housekeeper dead pester endlessly, Dongmei threw the bride price out of the door. The Yamen was not willing to give up. The next morning, he personally led the officers to rob their relatives. My cousin came out to stop me and was stabbed to death by the housekeeper. Dongmei cried bitterly. She couldn't help but think calmly: who will take revenge if she dies in vain? She asked the Yamen for three things: first, to kill the housekeeper for his life; second, to open a warehouse for the common people; third, to let her go up the mountain to bury her cousin. If the Yamen refused, she would jump off the cliff and die. The Yamen were eager to rob their relatives and did so one by one. But Dongmei's sad cry made the Yamen very unhappy. He and the officers slipped to the other side of the hillside to enjoy the scenery. Dongmei takes the opportunity to run down the mountain with her mother-in-law on her back. After a while, the Yamen found that they were following. Just at the critical moment, thunder and lightning, landslides, Yamen and officers were all buried in the earth. Dongmei and her aunt turned into a strange stone, like a daughter-in-law carrying her mother-in-law. Later this stone was called "mother in law and daughter-in-law rock".

This is a famous scenic spot in Zhoucun, Jinyun. It's called couple stone. It's said that in the age of dragon and dog, there was a couple in Zhoucun, Jinyun. The man is handsome, the mountain work is a good hand, the woman's beauty is dignified, the home in good order. Husband and wife love each other, never quarrel, neighbors all envy. But since one day, the wife brought food to her husband who worked in the mountains. When she arrived, she saw that her husband seemed to say something to widow Zhang, who worked in the neighboring fields. But she didn't hear it clearly, so she became suspicious of them. She always suspected that there was something between them. Although the wife didn't say anything outside, she often questioned the relationship between her husband and widow Zhang at home. Naturally, the husband did not admit it. And the wife still doesn't believe it. Then there was a quarrel at home. Slowly, his wife became more and more distrustful of her husband. She was afraid that he would have anything to do with widow Zhang when he worked in the mountains. She would go with him every time she worked, and would quarrel when no one was around. Once they went to the mountain to pick herbs together, and they quarreled again. The husband stood up and said, if I have anything to do with that person, I will die! Lei Gong, look at death! As a result, the voice did not fall, thunder roared in the sky, a flash of lightning struck her husband's neck, and her husband turned into a stone. The wife was shocked on the spot, knelt on the ground and said, Lei Gong, why are you? Even if they are friendly, they will not die! Why did you take my husband's life. The image of Lei Gong suddenly appeared in the sky. Lei Gong said, "Oh, wrong number.". I was just sleeping when I heard someone call Lei Gong to see if he was dead, so I beat him down. I had the wrong number. I'm sorry. His wife listened and was petrified on the spot. Lei Gong was ashamed. He later investigated the cause and effect of the incident and told the villagers of Zhoucun in Tuomeng. The villagers in Zhoucun took this as a warning, and since then, the couple have no suspicion of loving each other.
