Nanyanggou scenic spot, located 10 kilometers east of Jicui Township, Fangshan County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province, is the largest and best preserved Forest Park in Shanxi Province with dense forest and 38.2 square kilometers of vegetation coverage, accounting for 55% of the total tourism area.

Introduction to scenic spots

There are many kinds of trees in the scenic area, mainly Pinus tabulaeformis, Betula platyphylla, larch and spruce, supplemented by shrubs. Wild animals and rare animals can be seen everywhere in the mountains, among which the most precious are leopard, Brown Eared Pheasant (national first-class protected animals), yak, wolf, fox, deer, roe deer, mountain pig, snake, etc. There are more than one thousand kinds of wild Chinese herbal medicines on the mountain, including hundreds of precious herbs: ginseng, Ganoderma lucidum, Shashen, jitoushen, dangshen, Zhuling, Huangqin, Huangqi, Chaihu, etc.
