Lingyan is a huge rock several hundred feet high and about one hundred feet long. There are Fuxi cave, wind tunnel and Lingyan cave at the bottom of the rock. When you look up, you can see that the skylight is pouring down from the top of the rock, just like a rainbow across the sky. The crack splits the huge rock into two parts, like a giant axe. It is narrow and not full of scale. It is a great spectacle in the mountain.

Main attractions

Lingfeng, Lingyan and dalongqiu are the three wonders of Yandang, among which Lingyan is regarded as the "Ming Court" of Yandang Mountain. The main attractions of Lingyan scenic area are pingxiazhang, Lingyan temple, Tianzhu peak, Zhanqi peak, Lingyan ferry, xiaolongqiu, longbidong, zhuobifeng and Wolong valley.

Li Xiaoguang, a writer of the Yuan Dynasty, said: "precipitous carvings are magnificent, not like Lingfeng; majestic hunpang, not like Lingyan." The difference of aesthetic style of "Er Ling" is just revealed. With Lingyan ancient temple as the center, there is pingxia mountain, which is as bright as clouds and brocade. The two cliffs of Tianzhu and Zhanqi stand against each other. Due to the "hunpang" and solemn, people in it, suddenly feel all the worries. Lingfeng makes people think fast, while Lingyan makes people calm. But people are afraid of being too quiet, so there is a quasi acrobatic performance of "flying across Lingyan". In fact, there are many wonderful scenic spots in Lingyan, such as tianchuangdong, longbishui, Longqiu, yunnv peak, Shuangzhu waterfall, etc., but they are all hidden away. Everyone knows that it is clumsy to hide. If you don't know how to hide, you need to have a pair of hands and eyes. Lingyan knows the samadhi in this way, and then it becomes broad.
