Qinghai harihatu Forest Park is located in Wulan County in the east of Qaidam Basin, 25km away from xiligou town where Wulan county is located, with a total area of 5170.5hm2. In 1996, it was approved as a provincial forest park by the Department of agriculture and forestry of Qinghai Province.

The forest in the park is mainly composed of Qilian juniper, Qinghai Spruce and other tree species. From 300 to 500 years of Shuling, some forests and open grasslands provide good conditions for the reproduction and habitat of wild animals, but there are dense shrubs, pheasants flying, birds singing, blue sky, eagles flying.

Wild animals are also widely distributed in the forest, including lynx, sand fox, white lipped deer, etc. In the park, snow mountains, grasslands, forests and streams complement each other. It is full of vitality in spring, beautiful in summer, fruity in autumn and plain in winter.
