Baizhang Lake
Baizhang lake is located at the east foot of Mengshan Mountain in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, close to national highway 108 and 318.
Baizhang lake has a surface area of 2 million square meters, storing 20 million cubic meters of water all the year round. The lake bank is winding and winding, and the island is located in it, with beautiful scenery, elegant and quiet.
Baizhang Lake
The water is as blue as a mirror. The water of the lake comes from Yuxi River at the foot of Jiajin mountain. The water is clean and flows in and out continuously. The good ecological environment makes Baizhang lake a waterfowl paradise. In winter and spring, there are thousands of wild ducks playing in the water. In summer and autumn, there are groups of white cranes flying in the sky, just like clouds falling. The lake is surrounded by shallow mountains, verdant trees, reflecting the lake, infinite poetic. Some new resorts and other architectural groups along Baizhang lake have become new scenic spots in the lake area because of their unique styles.
Osmanthus Island
Osmanthus Island gets its name because it is full of osmanthus. The island is full of shade, green and fragrant flowers all the year round. On the island, the tree lined paths crisscross and the winding paths lead to seclusion, especially the tranquility; the bamboo fenced cottages are located in it, with outstanding style and simple elegance. To the west of Baizhang lake is chasima, the commercial channel of the South Silk Road. It was built in the seventh year of Xining reign of emperor Shenzong of the Song Dynasty (1072), and "dispatched officials to take charge of it", specializing in tea and horse affairs. The chamasi site rebuilt in the 29th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1849) is a memorial building, covering an area of about 4000 square meters and a construction area of more than 1000 square meters. It is a brick and wood structure courtyard with stone eaves. In history, tea and horse companies mainly traded tea for horses with various ethnic groups, mainly Tibetans, and used it for military purposes. In its heyday, the number of tea and horse trade teams reached as many as 20000. Sometimes, the number of tea and horse trade teams reached more than 2000 a day.
Qingyi Lake
Baizhang lake is adjacent to Qingyi lake, with a surface area of 550000 square meters and annual water storage of 4 million cubic meters. There is an island named Guishan in the lake, surrounded by water on all sides. It is surrounded by green wood, green bamboo and green tea garden. There are golden turtle Pavilion, Erwang Pavilion and Guanyin Pavilion on the island. The paths in the forest are scattered and circuitous, and there are caves in them.
