Luoxi waterfall is 35 kilometers away from Taojiang County in Yiyang, with a rock height of 103 meters. The waterfall falls straight down, sprinkles jade and pearls, silver curtains fall to the ground, and snow waves layer upon layer. It is a wonder of Taohua River scenic spot. The waterfalls are surrounded by green trees, red flowers, luxuriant forests, and peach trees. It is a wonderful tourist resort.

Basic introduction

Luoxi waterfall is 30 kilometers south of Taohuajiang town. The waterfall rock is 103 meters high. It flies straight down, sprinkles jade and throws beads. It falls like a silver curtain and snows layer upon layer.

The ancients once left a poem that "the waterfall flows 1000 feet, the silver river flows backward, and the birds are late".

There are three waterfalls recorded in Hunan famous places dictionary, one of which is Luoxi waterfall,

The others are Xiangshan waterfall in Chenzhou City and Zhulian waterfall in Yanling County. They are all located in southern Hunan, and duluo river is located in central Hunan.

In fact, Luoxi waterfall is only one of the most representative waterfalls in Luoxi waterfall group.

In the Luoxi Valley, the waterfalls are scattered, winding and winding, crossing the hill and gully, sometimes fast and sometimes slow, sometimes soft and sometimes rigid, like the wind floating in the Luo belt, like the water playing with the dragon.

Luoxi Triassic

Luoxi originates from ji'anlun at an altitude of 847 meters and is formed by the confluence of more than ten mountain streams.

Luoxi water alternates from the fast rhythm of destiny symphony to Alice's Adagio.

Feishuiyan has a magnificent momentum, such as uncanny craftsmanship, cutting and chopping, showing its masculinity.

According to the mountain, the rock is slightly curved on both sides, with a little concave in the middle. It is majestically embedded in the mountainside. The waterfall falls down from the top, and the falling water is shoveled into a pool. Then the water overflows from the pool, and then shovels into a pool. In this way, it overflows and falls three times, and finally enters the bottom of the valley, forming a complete waterfall, which is called Luoxi cascade.

Luoxi's three fold water sounds like drums and thunder, shaking the valley.

And in her upstream, Luoxi water is singing the sunny song of Tian Yuan. Here, small bridges and flowing water can be seen everywhere

Waterfalls are certainly unique in Luoxi. If Luoxi waterfall is "raised in the boudoir, people do not know it", then other splendid cultural landscapes of Luoxi are scattered in the strange mountains and waters like a paradise.

Tuanjia public stele

Under the unknown ancient tree at the entrance of Luoxi village, Luoxi flows gently here. Beside the tree stands a green stone tablet, about 50 cm wide and 70 cm high. This tablet was erected during the reign of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. The inscription on it is as follows:

According to the constitution, it is forbidden to kill gambling thieves, to play games and to gang up bandits without punishment.

Dongyue in the ninth year of Tongzhi was the end of 1871. It was more than 130 years ago. In the Ming Dynasty, Li Jia system was implemented in the administrative districts below the county level. Historically, Taojiang belonged to Yiyang County. At that time, Yiyang was divided into 23 Xiang Li, with 120 households as one Li, 10 households as long, and the rest 100 households as one Jia.

Because of the Ming Dynasty system, the Qing Dynasty implemented the Baojia system, with ten households as the card and the card leader; ten cards as the card and the card leader; ten cards as the card and the card leader; ten cards as the Bao and the card leader.

Therefore, judging from the inscriptions, Luoxi belonged to tuanjia in history.

And we can feel the peace and tranquility of Luoxi for more than 100 years from the inscriptions.

Stilted building

For more than a hundred years, the simple people of Luoxi have been working hard on the land of Fangxian mountain and strange water, and they have nothing to do with the world. When you enter Luoxi, you can see the atmosphere of Paradise everywhere.

The simple and artistic stilted building, with its old black texture and scattered log structure, shows the peace of Luoxi and its long history.

Bluestone water reservoir

The bluestone water storage vessels in front of the house are the typical living utensils of Luoxi villagers in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The wind and rain of the years have eroded the original clear and smooth craft patterns, but we can still see a little from its seamless structure.

Wayfinding stele of Wangfu post

In the lunshan depression of Ji'an, the source of Luoxi, the author found this ancient road guide tablet.

It is buried in the weeds, witnessing the storm of history.

According to the records of Geography in the new book of the Tang Dynasty, Zhai Guan, the governor of Yongfeng, opened a new road from Wangfu post in the first year (765) and went to Xiangxiang via Fuqiu According to the annals of Taojiang County, "wangfuyi is the county seat of Taojiang today. This road passes through Shuangjiang, Fuqiushan, Gaoqiao, shijingtou, Tianjingshan and other townships in the county. It goes to dafuping in Anhua to Xiangxiang and extends southward to Shaoyang Today, there are traces of ancient roads in shijingtou, Tianao and caozi'ao. " According to the guide, the monument was marked from Luoxi to Taohua Lake in ancient times.

Fengshuao is now fengshuao village by Taohua lake, and luobudong is now Luoxi village.

In history, Luoxi belongs to Tianjingshan Township, so it can be seen that this tablet is actually the guide tablet of wangfuyi.
